I am thinking less-than-normal weakening than we would typically expect. The models do gendrally show this. Not sure about brown ocean effect with this one but given the synoptics, it makes sense to me.

If youre still in E MA. Maybe we'll get a decent rain band with a few gusts of wind, a few iso tors or perhaps microburst.. but generally NBD.

Yeah the hot/dry wx needs a few interruptions. Tracking and forecasting a TC is fun and challenging so we are pretty lucky for Aug 2nd.

True but the ceiling remains pretty low for wind/surge, which is what interests most weenies. The wildcard may be whether we tor or not.

Thankfully it will be moving quickly because not a single one of us wants flooding.
