Well when it comes down to it yes I complain when 12 hours out they cant get a forecast right. Im glad it isnt last winter Im just saying when I hear the most accurate forecast from local news I just wonder what the % is like 20? lol when every one else is like 15. I dont want to complain but it feels like forecasts have got worse vs when I was a kid they felt 9 times out of 10 spot on.

I dont know after the fail of this last system on the models I just wonder if it just wont be 50 and rain all the way up to ny state.

tonight's even was a total joke for my area. even radar showed pink as in mix all we got was heavy rain forecast high was 32 got to 38 never went below 35 but yet still we have a wwa going on wtf. I mean you cant accurately forecast a even 12 hours out now? smh did any one in the lsv receive any wintry weather

The precipitation field looks way off as well as its in sc a lot less then when it was going to be in wv? Im confused as all get out I know these are just models and are used for guidance but this is way off imo

one weather station says 41 for me tuesday another one says 31 so yeah thats for me in PA so i would guess a tad warmer down for you guys.

well this is a bunch of bull crap. I never go below freezing tonight per hourly forecast. I get down to 33 get snow showers at 11am to 2 then rain and a high of 41????

Ah thanks but its funny cause I went frim seeing 38 on friday yesterday to 41 for friday today but that explains it lol.

in a wsw for 2 inchs of snow and a .10 of a inch of ice? is this just low balling it atm?

Funny thing is my forecasts are saying 41 for friday morning showers. So not sure if all the models are saying below freezing and snow and ice why the forecast is that off.

man nws in our area are jokes they love to downplay storms so much you see the hate they have for winter storms. I just dont know lol.

I think its kind of pathetic that we go from artic air to just below normal. The to a weeks worth of snow storms off and on to mix of ice and snow now to rain for mon and tues. with a Low in mexico instead of riding the gulf coast like it does 9 out of 10 times and goes up the east coast now its a apps runner?

well for my area radar doesnt even look like any thing is going to happen for me. I think they are going to end the wwa for me at least then bring it back monday maybe but now it looks like just rain?

the way things have gone the last few winters its probably right lol no matter how odd it may seem to us. sometimes the weather just licks to F us in the end wasted cold no artic air after all etc.

Some of the models are pushing this L for next mon tues farther south then i could remember any L going in the winter.. All the way down to the heart of Mexico but only to push it almost as a apps runner the trends are slightly farther east now. But doesnt give us all snow in fact very little snow but a bunch of sleet and frz rain. normally when a L goes close to the gulf we get a major storm that rides up the whole coast from about GA to SC NC then up the coast. Has any one else seen a Low go that far south and not turn into a major storm snow wise? The Low itself doesnt get to strong down to 1003 or so.

when you still hear online weather and local weather forecasters claiming the cold air is coming or artic blast incoming. even if it was coming 20s for my area is never considered artic highs in the teens or below would be artic not 20s

just outside Middletown when i came home around 230am at work I had 3 inchs on my car. when I got home a 20 min drive I had 3.5 and still snowed pretty good for 2 hours. I havent went out since I got home but safe to say we hit just over 4 inchs

the artice airmass just up and vanished on my forecast one day in the 20s the rest mid to upper 30s with 1 40 lol so much for that big cold air mass. at least we got some snow so far out of the pattern change.

Im really sick of this dark blue band over me for hours and nothing is falling in fact I see breaks in the clouds like wtf.

actually I love about of week of really cold why you may ask? It kills all the nasty bugs and we have less of them in the summer and overall I miss cold days as a grown up get under a blanket toasty with hot coco or some thicc soup like broc and cheddar or beef stew

now our artic airmass will only be here 2 days? highs in the low 20s for sundays snow but then shoot back up to the upper 30s to near 40 right after the storm? im getting tired of them since last year saying the artic air is coming and it never comes. I just want a week or so of a good cold push i dont want rain or ice out of no where cause its to warm.
