  1. Probably the top day in August on tap. Actual dry air!
  2. Note the lack of actual crisp air (SUB 55 DEWS) on this chart. 2025 had 290 hours under 55 DP (3rd best), 2026 has 14 hrs (all time worst). Here's hoping Saturday brings us our first crisp day (low 50s dew) of August - fingers crossed!
  3. Folks, it’s been a very warm and muggy month. It’s a dog fight to get under the 60 dew point mark, and when we do, we get gaslit by Louisianans that 59 dew point is crisp, chamber of commerce weather, when in reality, the AC units continue to hum away.
  4. I pay attention to the night time temps quite a bit. It’s been windows open for sleeping most of the month and heat hasn’t needed to be turned on at all. Those things should be noticeable to a casual observer I would think.
  5. Yes, that upper 70s and full sun tomorrow is going to be BRUTAL
  6. The reports of summer’s death are greatly exaggerated. Buckle up!
  7. The ACATT saw their shadow and now we have 6 more weeks of summer!!
  8. You are the only truth teller on here. Everyone lying and saying “summer’s back broken lol” and the dews just keep rolling on. I know chicks dig the heat index, but DP averages are where it’s really at.
  9. Lol at summer’s back being broken on July 30. One cool(ish) week doesn’t mean the season is over. Very short-sighted.
  10. It doesn’t take an exceptional human to notice the high mins. There’s been like 2 “windows open” nights in all of July. Worcester is +4.8 on avg lows for July. Believe me, I notice.
  11. Best weekend since Memorial Day. Love how it set up with the best severe thunderstorms we have seen as a region in a couple years. I think summer has finally arrived!
  12. Good, I despise these noisemakers. You automatically lose the right to complain about climate change if you or your landscapers use them. It’s called “disturbing the peace.”
  13. Man, imagine if today was in January and people were using their crooked rulers - imagine the totals!
  14. 63 DP is still muggy and I won’t be gaslit otherwise. Sweat along the backside will still occur.
  15. Why is 65 DP only considered a “bit” and not a “crap load” of humidity? Looks muggy every single day.
