With the forecasted winds next weekend it’s going to be hard to get down to where we were Friday night/Saturday morning on the coast. My area was anywhere from 0 to -3 (central suffolk)

I think it will too. 2017-2018 winter I received just under 70” thanks to the March nor’easters. Wonder when we see those amounts again

March 2018 was epic in Suffolk. Nor’easter every weekend. ISP airport recorded 6” in one hour during one of those storms.

January 22-23 2005 LI received up to 20” and orient had wind gusts to 79mph

I believe something similar happened maybe 5-10 years ago? It wasnt that much snow but montauk snowed the whole day and got 6-7” and the rest of the island had clouds

It would be nice to wake up early Sunday morning and check the radar and see bands of snow backing in off the ocean for suffolk

Prefer the miller a at least for me on LI. Miller a‘s are usually the one that drop 1-3’. The storm this last Sunday was a very weird system that truly over performed out here

I would expect Myrtle beach to be mainly rain and end as a period of snow. I doubt they get “buried”
