  1. The reason I’m focused on Sunday is because it seems to have greater potential for my area. Doesn’t look like much accumulation or possibly all rain for me in Suffolk county LI
  2. FWIW noaa has me for 1-3” Sunday. East central Suffolk
  3. https://www.weather.gov/okx/blizzard_01262715
  4. Nemo was February 2013 Juno was 2015. Both were great but Nemo dropped more snow for my area. Juno dropped around 2’ in central suffolk
  5. Probably one of my all time favorite storms. The day before it hit they were forecasting 1-3” my area had between 28-32”!
  6. What do you consider frigid? I’m seeing lows down into the upper teens a few nights
  7. I remember the 2000s-2015ish a clobbering was nothing less than 12 and was usually 18+. I’m spoiled
  8. February 2013 was epic out here in Suffolk. I had 28”. Medford had 33” Somewhere in Connecticut had 40”.weather channel named the storm Nemo. Probably my favorite storm. It started as rain and turned to all snow by 2-3pm. reminiscing about this one
  9. Yeah westbabylonweather was also claiming that burning1/4 tank in a month was a lot for him? Seems good to normal to me. My house is 1100 square foot and I’ll burn 1/3-1/2 a tank during the most severe cold weather here on LI during winter
  10. 1/4 tank a month during winter sounds good to me. Like Sussex said I’ve gone through almost 1/2 a tank a month and my thermostat is never set higher than 66
  11. I won’t mind a little bit of a warmup. Been going through heating oil like water
  12. Mexico and Florence Ny have been getting hammered
  13. Why do you keep posting about Sunday? It’s a no go for this area
  14. We’ve had some of our best snows after a warm up
  15. If this is true I’d gladly take the warmer and dry versus the colder and dry like we had last winter. We’ll have our opportunities in January
  16. Ended up with 1.25-1.5” from last night and the squall this morning. Nice blanket of snow to start the year
  17. Nice look on the radar for south east Suffolk
  18. Decent snow here in east/central suffolk. Roads covered
  19. Wouldn’t surprise me if east end of li ends up with 2”
  20. Looks like 1.5 miles SE of ridge was the winner in suffolk. NOAA reporting 8” there. around 14” for me on the year and it’s still December. If you told me that in October I’d have laughed
  21. 6” miller place. A little disappointed but I’m being greedy. If I can get to 7” that will give me 15” for December. I’ll take it!
