Euro was similar to 12z though it might even be slightly more rounded on the trough. Not what I want to see. Still gives several inches for interior SNE though. But we want to see a trend where there's some vorticity out at the base of the trough as it swings north.
Can you show us for us ’s

I don't live in SNJ and I'm in SW CT right now for a few months.
I wish I lived in the Mid-Atlantic this year they had a lot more snow than most up here.
Models have a light accumulation due to the Arctic front, so I'm not denying that won't happen.
Let’s see what nam shows tonight. I’ll talk to u guys later

The Nam is garbage outside 48 hrs.
This doesn't look good for anyone outside NNE, CNE is close.
Dude I can’t with you. You’re the type of person that knows it all. Just give it up you don’t know what’s going to happen and in fact no one knows yet! I’d give it until Sunday night

You don’t know that and honestly I’d take the nam at 84 hours way before the gfs and cmc. Just look at how nam has performed with big storms the last few years.

Turns out the Gfs was onto something with this potential event, so maybe it's not garbage after all.
Alternatively any model that screws us this year is probably right.
Did u see the nam? Much better model than the gfs any day

Nam looks like it’s going to develop into a bomb!

It (EPS) actually starts to get really bad around day 8 but yea the pattern turns into a disaster in the 1st week of February. GEFS and GEPS also show this. At that point we are less than 4 weeks away from met spring. I have serious doubts as to whether we ever go into a sustained cold and snow pattern before winter’s end now
Ok dude yes it’s not looking good but your a Debbie not a way to start my weekend honestly. Reading your stuff is always depressing whether about weather or not. Eps could improve I’ve seen it before but for now it does look bad. We may see a couple of inches Tuesday night into Wednesday morning

Let’s see if it anything comes from this as we get closer still very far. I like systems like that come out of nowhere. Plenty of cold air around too!

Any snow at all on the euro next week that’s an interesting evolution a would think

Euro has potential for Wednesday

Ummmm euro looks very interesting and so does Canadian of course the worst model goofus shows this as a cold front with a period of snow. Euro shows a potent bombogenesis benchmark Miller B. Canadian shows similar just coastal hugger

February is looking amazing on the long range. We could even hit below zero here in the city

That’s how we got the big storm in January 2016 blizzard. The pv pulled out triggering the jet streak to head north and dug enough to hit us hard

Warm cutter for New England, but NYC was in a narrow pocket of heavy snow.
Nothing huh? Can’t catch a break this year! The +pna trough could produce though in my opinion!

Hey guys I don’t have access to the models today? What did the euro and gfs show for our area?
-
It’s coming winter will reorganize itself if the mjo goes back to 7-8 territory. February is looking interesting with the teleconnections.

Yeah, the UKMET did SO well with the last storm... if the EURO doesn't show 10 inches of snow, I'm not buying a shovel.
It really didn’t, gfs para did better and so did the euro not to mention that was last night ukmet run

1/29- 1/30 Storm Threat
in New England

That’s not rain. You have to consider evaporative and dynamic cooling which models always underestimate!
