Well the 12z GFS just caught up to last night’s CMC. Tonight’s GFS should catch up to this afternoon’s CMC. Looks like CMC is leading the way!

I think the confusion is that Wednesday is 12/16, not 12/14. People may think you were referring to Weds event and not Monday’s because you said Weds 12/14.

Yeah, when the Euro, GFS and ensembles all agree on something at range, plus it fits the overall pattern, that is a pretty typical signal for our bigger storms.

GFS looks totally different from ICON at 132. No frozen but could be close to something. It pops a low but too far offshore.

Thanks. We’ll be there 12/27-12/31. This will probably be in the middle of our annual holiday torch but hoping there are a few trails open.

At least the EPS and GEFS both have a decent -NAO continuing in the long range.
