  1. Nothing here in Lumberton yet. Reports of 4in to our southwest in Rowland, NC near the SC state line. I guess it’s coming.
  2. Lumberton, NC - 20 miles N of the SC line on I-95. We picked up enough accumulation between midnight and 3AM to cover the bare spots in my lawn. Flurries now.
  3. 40 degrees and snowing hard in Lumberton, NC.
  4. Total noob here. I follow this board pretty closely for weather info, and I understand about 10% of what I read. However, I'm learning. This comment really caught my eye. I was at Ground Zero for Matthew (and Florence) here in southeastern NC. I mean, we had Jim Cantore in our town and everything. One if the biggest issues with Matthew was that we'd had a lot of rain prior to that storm. Right now, however, it is extremely dry in most of our part of the state. I assume that would make a huge difference when comparing potential outcomes of this storm to Matthew, or am I totally off base?
  5. I’m in SENC as well. Forecast was 37, and I’m at 40 now.
  6. Yep, some of the strongest gusts in Lumberton have been in the last 15 minutes or so. Looks like the center of circulation is 55-60 miles SSE of us.
