ConEd says not to charge your electric vehicle unless absolutely necessary lol Let's switch everything to electric and then not able to handle the load when we actually need it, makes a lot of sense.

I tried that earlier and it doesn't let you zoom in enough to really pinpoint it down to the literal address. I wanted to see the stations on Google Street View.

Is there a way to get the exact location for the NYC micronet stations? Like cross streets?

Why in the world did LGA have a NE wind all day? They went from NE all day to S winds. Weird.

Yea my low was 77 last night and only just briefly. If there's any combination of WEST and SOUTH windwise (except SSW) I usually torch at night during heatwaves because the wind blows over the massive urban heat island just to my west. That's why I'm kind of hoping that if winds are south maybe I can squeeze into the upper 70s at least.

Down to 85. Hopefully I can get into the 70s and temps stay there instead of going back up or staying in the 80s overnight.

88 degrees now. The worst is over. The mini splits have made the house a refrigerator now since the temp has dropped down from the earlier upper 90s. Tomorrow should be peak misery for me and pretend to enjoy the heat but spend no time in it for others.

Looks like the better sea breeze pushed into central Queens west of the Van Wyk first because all those stations are now in the upper 80s while I'm still 93

The pretend sea breeze might be slowly working here finally, I briefly touched 97 while spending the last 5 hours between 95 and 96, now I'm down to 93.

My concern was high temps because I don't think Coned can handle it. I posted a couple days ago responding to @LibertyBell that dewpoints will be nasty since he was looking for a 2010 type of heat.

Mid to upper 90s for most, Euro for 2PM today had this on the Saturday 0z run: Even today's 12z run, it had a spot of 103 in western Queens and thereabouts.

I always look to see if there's another station next to the ones that are on the extreme ends to make sure they are reflecting reality. For example there is a station near me that is saying it's almost 102 right now, but every other station is between 94 and 97, so I toss it.

Euro with a major bust with 2PM temps across the metro area, GEMLAM too but not as much. 12k NAM doing well with mid to upper 90s reflecting reality.
