Saturday 0z RGEM run was giving NYC low 100s for tomorrow, the latest 18z RGEM shows only 95 before a major ocean push cools everyone down quickly.

Euro is still showing those numbers for Tuesday, either it will bust badly or will score a great coup

I consider 98 as a bust when the Euro is saying 106 still.

If it wasn't for the dewpoints today would have felt pretty decent. There's a strong breeze and temps are tolerable.

As fake as midnight highs

Late day highs as far as I'm concerned are still a bust. Peaking at 90 for like an hour when you spent most of the day in the 70s and some 80s and the expected highs were mid 90s+ and sunny produces a total different day perception wise.

Models still have a seabreeze tomorrow too. Tomorrow might be a quick run at the mid to upper 90s before we drop down precipitously in the afternoon.

Just as I said that it shows one lightning bolt around Manhattan lol I'm referring to our local area of course. I know that in central NY it's been showing the lightning.

For some reason Radarscope isn't picking up any of the lightning that is occuring. Weird.

I love a cold, moderate steady snow that falls all day long. I can stare out the window forever looking at that.

I remember some type of event from the early 90s where the Weather Channel was showing models forecasting moderate snow dropping down from the north in a line. Even as a little kid I remember seeing that and thinking that was weird.

Yea that part of Queens got the straight line winds, we didn't get that here. But the tornado was bad enough as it was.

The light level outside right now is the same as it would be end of December cloudiness wise. It's really dark out.
