I swear we've had more flash freezes this year than ever. Typically right at dawn when the thermals rise is when it happens but not this year! This by far is the best season in 10 yrs for snow and ice contractors.

I've got guys in Westminster and Columbia, westmimster crew is reporting a quick flash freeze and Columbia crew saying just rain. Pavement temps in hoco 35° Westminster 31°

Its sad that bobchill is reluctant to post because of all the negativity on this forum now. Him and psu are hands down the best imo. I'm far from a weather guru, i actually find it "weird" that everyone loves snow. To me, it's just business! You guys invest so much time into this and then argue with eachother and/or brag about how much snow your lawn got.. its crazy! I operate with 40+ pieces of equipment and monitor this site from the sidelines because i have nothing to offer. While many of you are asleep during the storm, you've so anxiously anticipated and insulted some people for, I'm actually watching it unfold! Get your shit together, have any of you ever had to gamble on a "march sun angle storm" and lose thousands?? No. Get along, quit the bs and grow up. Mostly meltdowns lol, some live run to run. Some hate snow it seems. Thank you all, seriously.. you can't and won't find more updated minute by minute weather discussion anywhere else where you can actually learn from too. In my 50000+ hours of snow removal and actually being in the storms I've noticed one trend, when storms over achieve they tend to bring buddies with them. Models don't agree with my gut, but my gut says busy 2 weeks ahead so drink up now!

As anyone ever noticed that unorganized/crazy models indicate a big event and/or pattern change?

I still owe mr chill a few beers from helping me successfully conduct my snow removal business during last years march storm. I continue to monitor this site and especially the mid to long range forum. I thank all of you for your input, it helps me plan so much and it's entertaining as well! It blows my mind you guys love snow so much lmao.. what i will say is 2 weeks ago we were talking about a torch.. because of this site i locked in on 6"+ in columbia and it worked, most "tv weatherman " were saying 2-3", i planned according to psu and chill and always will!
