We need the WAA snow to come in hot and heavy and early. I think that is our best chance at scoring 1-3 inches in and around the metros before the flip to 33 and rain 

Saw a couple flurries in Alexandria. Using this as an unscientific data point to explain why we still have a 1 in a million chance on Saturday!

40/moderate rain/wind in Montclair. Seems like a pretty dynamic storm. Someone could get lucky.

What a glorious stretch of weather. Warm days, low humidity and cool mornings and evenings. Cold weather will be here soon enough. Enjoying this while it lasts!

It has been a spectacular Spring and Summer. Lots of caveats for various microclimates, but generally speaking, spectacular.

We did pretty well in Montclair. Several down pours. Clearing skies and the most humidity we have had this year. Air is thick.

Can already see the grass getting greener in Montclair. Been a light to moderate rain all morning and shows no signs of letting up. A couple boomers after todays soaker and we will be talking flooding instead of drought. Wild!

Saved by some boomers in Montclair! The early wave had to be less than a tenth of an inch here.

Between Friday and today, the mini drought is over in Montclair. Still coming down at the moment.
