  1. The #’s just keep rising. I was just watching, for all you Buffalo folk, Channel 23 (sister station of channel 4) and Don Paul is filling in this whole week for Todd Santos. Don has up to 15” Buffalo and north as a jackpot an average of 10-12” Buffalo north.
  2. Small victory but the NWS did up the total ever so slightly from 6-11 to 6-12”...add the 1-3 tomorrow before the WSWand it’s 7”-15”
  3. Yes in fact if you look at the very first post on this thread by BW the map now shows a broad area of 12-18” over most of WNY
  4. I’m beginning to think the warning will be updated tomorrow am with higher totals. The meso models are picking up the banding on the maps and it appears honing in on the western part of the state.
  5. You know I’m just cracking wise brother, although I did just have your lease canceled...
  6. Could someone post the AFD write up? It’s all mixed up. It doesn’t even mention the upgrade to the WSW...yikes KBUF we need Tom Niziol back...you beat me to it Wolfie!!! But as you can see they didn’t fully update the verbiage
  7. I see what KBUF did. They didn’t include the first round of 2-3” of snow tomorrow. The WSW begins at 7pm tomorrow, so if you add up 2-3 on top of 6-11 you get 8-14”...odd they didn’t combine the 2 as totals will be higher than they’re suggesting
  8. Bingo!!! Less than Erie Pa and Cleveland!!! I can’t with these effers
  9. Yes but no one else or models NOT Kuchera are saying much more, just ask the 12z Euro...
  10. Same here! In fact WTF is taking them so long to pull the trigger?! This is how I know they’re going low.
  11. Yep even though every model, map and outside forecast shows high amounts they will hedge lower, I mean this is the same group that called for a few inches just 3 days ago
  12. Well there was also no chance at Antonio Brown, Leonard Fornette and Rob Gronkowski all scoring TD’s in the super bowl after being in jail, cut from the Jaguars and in the WWE all in order last spring...there’s always a chance
  13. I’m guessing that light pink on the second map from the bottom is 10-15”?
  14. Simply due to this first storm producing from 12-15” from the Niagara Frontier to Rochester and the western Finger Lakes. The second system might be in the 8-10” level so if you high end those then some locales will get close to that mark...then add in the lake effect and viola.
  15. So honestly there is a damn good chance the Kuchera map actually verifies or comes close.
  16. I’m guessing the NWS upgrades in the next 2 hours at the 2:30-3:00 update. Erie Pa is already under a warning so it’s close. My early guess I’d the NWS goes 10-16 accumulation fir the duration of tomorrow through Tuesday am with the higher amounts as you move north of the 90
  17. Tim I think it was you that said upstate could be under 2-4 feet after Friday. I can’t remember a time this was possible. It appears the 12z GFS has moved even further east for Thursday and Friday and almost has all of WNY all snow the entire time. I expect this change to continue and move closer to the Euro model. What a time. And I may be upping my Buffalo totals to 15”. The western finger lakes to the Niagara frontier are beginning to look like the bullseye for this first storm Monday night Tuesday.
  18. Just my opinion but your #s are low. This is a minimum 15-1 ratio. Is this reverse psychology or are you seeing something we all aren’t?
  19. BUF: 13” ROC: 19” SYR: 10” BGM: 5” * Both BGM and to a lesser extent SYR will have some sleet mixed in for lower amounts.
