Stormspotter in that is loving it, lol  All these cells missed me so far.  I'm guessing @Allsnow is getting it good.

Funny, my sister that is near Lake Nelson said it was pouring, but my mother in law that is by quick check on River Road got nothing.  Your area and mine has been missing out on these the past few weeks.

I need that Edison cell to cut SE

Outflow generated but all these, wherever they develop could eventually turn south or southeast guided by mid level flow and heading for higher CAPE which appears to me south of I80 (also a boundary apparent in NNJ, per check 14z wind field only).  No cu here yet in Wantage--definitely bothersome especially for 84/68.   Will see what happens. Off line for a while. 1033A/6

Yeh, you can see the Cape advancing to 78 ish.

Even the 3k is to the Driscoll too.

Maybe a few sneak into the lower boroughs ?

  4. Let's all agree to keep politics out of here.

The 1st one to wade into a non informative discussion goes.

I am not pointing to anyone but this was one of the best cohesive disco's in a long time and it's gone. I know the adults in here can police this.

This has had many turns and some like me in late February still weren't sure what this was.

Now my position flipped 6 to 7 weeks ago and I am glad it did.

I would really like to see us get to a resolution, I think the people who have been informative throughout deserve that.

It’s still here, y’all just can’t see it.  Not going to delete it or move it.  Thread has far too much political overtones and personalities of members who can’t get along with each other were creating a toxic environment for the thread to remain open.  It moved beyond its original premise.

Understood. I thought overall it was such an informative thread with really important information during this time.

I was looking forward to the day we got a breakthrough in either a treatment and/or a vaccine.

I think after all the hard work over the months by so many that it would have been a nice payoff for all those that kept it above the fray.

    Thanks for having me.

    CNN reported:

Siberia's prolonged period of unusually warm weather is an "alarming sign," according to climate change scientists.

Surface temperatures in Siberia were up to 10 degrees Celsius (18 degrees Fahrenheit) higher than average last month, making it the vast Russian region's hottest May since records began in 1979, according to research by the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), a program affiliated with the European Commission. Siberia's warmer weather came as the world experienced its hottest May on record, the C3S findings show.

According to climate scientist Martin Stendel, the temperature deviation in northwestern Siberia last month would happen only once in 100,000 years if it weren't for climate change.
