Are Anafrontal setups harder to verify than a simple storm track 5 days out?. Non scientific but they seem like very fickle setups? At least it gives people hope for something after the warmup
They do seem to show up in the longer term range for models which much greater frequency than they actually occur.

Not certain why nobody mentions the BTV WRF model but me
what a all time pounding
round 2 on 18z is freakish
Because it lacks pretty graphics and you have to remember to look for it.

NNE needs some ICON type solution where the closed H5 low goes right over SNE.
Ain’t happening James. That confluence is exactly what we don’t want to see from here to Dryslot.
So T0lland is stealing our snow yet again!!!!!!!!!!!
I am good with that this week.

We don't have to watch Buffalo/Dallas? Sweet.
Who do the Lions lose to this year? I can't be bothered to look it up. If it is the Bears and Lions, people won't need tryptophan to fall asleep.
Edit: it is Bears and Lions at 12:30.

Looks like the models coming into a consensus that Sunday will either be a whiff, jackpot right over me, or come north such that the mix line is towards Stowe.
-
1.5 inches at the house today after .4 yesterday.
-
Sunday looks very interesting on the overnight ECMWF
-
Well waking up and seeing this from the 0Z Euro got my attention, especially with the GFS being north as well.

I just ordered 10 tons of hardpack to make driveway repairs. It is being delivered on Nov 9. I fully expect first snow to come on either the 8th or 9th now.
The Twin State Sand and Gravel model verified to the tune of .6 inches between the 7th and 8th. Fortunately the driveway is clear.

It is, sadly the snow always moves the light strands so it means I will spend some time rearranging the lights back in place after Tuesday's rain
