Weed whacking and mowing in jeans or pants? Wouldn’t even consider it. That’s a hot , summer job. Shorts required .
How about DILF Khakis or GILF shorts?

We also watch Covered Bridges. It’s been wet since Sept 1 and with trees/vegetation shut down largely… 2-4” should run off fairly efficiently.
Anyone who sees 4”+ in the hilly E.VT area with narrower valleys and force multipliers could get interesting.

FYI- BTV is doing an experimental change to its Winter Storm Warning criteria for this season:
https://www.weather.gov/media/btv/NWSBurlington_WinterStormWarningExperiment2022.pdf
QuoteBeginning this winter season the National Weather Service Burlington Forecast Office will test a change to the Winter Storm Warning Snowfall Criteria in its County Warning Area of responsibility. This change is intended to simplify messaging and align snowfall criteria for Winter Storm Warnings more closely based to climatological impacts. There will be no changes to the Winter Weather Advisory snowfall criteria. Historically, the National Weather Service Burlington County Warning Area snowfall criteria has been the following: 6 inches of snow in 12 hours or 9 inches of snow in 24 hours The new experimental criteria for this winter season will no longer consider the time frame. This will allow for a more event driven approach to messaging. The experimental Winter Storm Warning Snowfall Criteria will be the following: 7 inches of snowfall during a winter storm event

I hadn't seen anything about how Sable Island fared but I found an article:
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/sable-island-after-post-tropical-storm-fiona-1.6597400
QuoteAs for the few hundred horses on the island, they likely survived relatively unscathed, he said. Parks Canada staff do not manage the population, and there are rules in place to prevent humans from interacting with the horses or touching them.
Surette said normally the horses find shelter in tall dunes during storms, and by midday Saturday, the horses were out grazing "almost as if nothing happened."
In short, good news

Yup…it looked familiar to me. Isn’t there a ski area across the street from the place…is it Bretton Woods? My girl and I stayed in North Conway at a bed and breakfast 6-7 yrs ago in August, and we went over one evening to eat and drink…gorgeous place. If I remember correctly, can see the back side of Mt Washington from there no?

Last big wave almost swept one guy out and almost drove another into a pylon. They look to be leaving now. Things really picking up as a band moves in

two of the bros are now between the pier and the restaurant. This will not end well

Looks like a rain band is moving in.
Last I saw 3 guys were still in the water but moved away from the camera, up the beach.
Edit: they just showed up on the pier.
