  1. 22” at New Cumberland airport. Shop is located at the end of the runway
  2. Made final preparations at the shop today. Fueled up all equipment, placed snow stakes where needed, briefed management on my plan for about 8-10 hours of moving snow piles in preparation for the next storm. All is good, prepping potato soup for the crockpot. GAME ON!!
  3. I just work in that area, reside in Dillsburg. Would definitely be nice to meet up if we get this storm, as I am sure to be refueling the plow truck and diesel cans for the skid steer. Cheers to a hopefully historic storm!
  4. Lmao I Love it. Maybe when I am refueling at that rutters we can exchange meals lol
  5. Getting excited for my first long duration plow event since ‘21. I have since switched companies and now only have to take care of our shop/storage unit site. Not a lot of places to put the snow, going to have to account for that since we should still have some chances down the road. Won’t be far from @Yardstickgozinya and will try to get some pics in. We have a full kitchen in the shop, thinking about whipping up some potato soup and throwing it in a croc pot for some quick refreshment.
  6. Highlight of my day was the 30 minute drive down 174 to Ship. All the farmers were out, taking advantage of next weeks warm temps and the rain tomorrow. The spring time, Central PA smell was in the air, and it was wonderful
  7. Contrary to popular belief, I am not a bot, not compromised. Posting on mobile limits upload size. But I am proudly wearing my newly purchased shirt, previously discussed. https://www.heavyslime.com/ its the black shirt with the big bird In other news, my work travels took me from New Cumberland to Carlise to Shippensburg, back to Carlise and ended the day in Mechanicsburg, near CV High School. Sun broke out around 11:30 when I was leaving Ship. Winds picked up when I got back to Carlisle, but that sun is warm. Hit 62 at 2:49 just off of the Carlisle Pike in the Cumberland Estates neighborhood. Beautiful day for outside work. Put some grass seed down tonight, ahead of the rain tomorrow. Dogs did a number on the lawn this winter.
  8. I bought a sick ass Eagles Super Bowl T Shirt. Check out heavyslime.com. I got the now sold out championship shirt. Pic is too large to upload.
  9. I was 15 this day. I remember having two days off and a 2 hour delay from this storm. The height of MTV and puberty. Needless to say, it was a glorious day to wake up to lol
  10. Went out with the wife today during the flizzard. Traffic was a mess in Mechanicsburg and Camp Hill. And despite their advertising, Boscovs had a terrible selection of Eagles gear. Especially if you wear a size large or above. As a 2x guy, I felt slightly a certain way lol.
  11. 21 with 15mph winds, 31 for the gusts. My favorite piece of siding has called for my attention. Ugh. Done with these winds.
  12. 150 gallons of oil since about December 15th. 60 at night, 64 during the day. Been timing my cycles lately and am averaging about a 5 minute burn rate at about every 35 minutes when these tropical winds persist and we stay below freezing. I believe I am burning about 2 gallons per day in these cold stretches.
  13. Water, water, water. Orange juice, ibuprofen 800mg and some good ole sunlight, aka vitamin D. This is the Army way. But you deserve better. Rest and recuperate and don’t forget to hydrate. No matter what end it comes out of lmao
  14. Yes sir, the Ahole of Texas but closet to the best spots haha. Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston were all within a weekend pass. Best part is it’ where I met my wife, 15 years ago. We miss it and talk of moving back after the kids (12/8) are out on their own. Looking at Tyler area
  15. I have lived in Dillsburg all of my life, aside from my 8 years at Ft Hood, and I can not recall it being as windy as the last several winters have been. Specifically the winters. Doesn’t seem as prevalent during our other three seasons lol
  16. Thank goodness for the defense showing up. But the O Line needs to step it up and let Saquon break a BIG one
  17. 30 degrees with light rain? Located in the burg of Dills. Accumulated about 5/8” of sleet before this. Scraped of the patio for the dogs. Its yucky to say the least.
  18. Gonna brave the storm, too many good football games on tomorrow. Setting up the smoker under the canopy. Should be fun with the winds, NOT.
