    I'm right at Concord/Harrisburg near 49. It's brutal on this area. Warm nose pretty much ruins significant snows. Sleet storms can be ok I suppose.

       I can imagine the 74 corridor is even worse huh?

      Best of luck!!

    Man Rockingham is the worst ever. I usually travel 25 miles north to see a flake. I’m Mr Weenie

    S.Mecklenburg county= .5"

    N.Meck= 5.5"

    Literally 20 miles.

    That's our reality +

    I’m with you. I live 60 miles east of you and it would take some work for us.  If you live on the hwy 74 corridor we’ve watched this play out many times. I can’t seem to look away though .

    It’s really close to identical honestly, just shifted north a bit causing differences on the southern fringes and down along the southern blue ridge escarpment. Selfishly would love to see it move just a bit more towards this look, definitely looking like there’s potential for someone to get a big one out of this though.9E1563B6-E8D1-4478-9D4B-EE767FEF46CE.jpeg.7dbb23aa98fe291c7389f78702b42914.jpeg

    This brings up painful memories. Another great shutout event for me. Dang I had forgotten about that nightmare lol

    If we could knock it south some you wouldnt have to worry about ice ;):D

    Can you imagine if this happened. 5 inches 15 miles north of me while I’m driving looking for a dusting.  Could I start my very own whining thread just to talk to myself. Lol. Glad we have something to watch. Get the Tylenol out

    Most models give me nothing next week yet places like Elizabeth city and Norfolk may get buried. Can we end this pathetic winter please?

    They are backing off for everyone. Game , set , match . Bring on spring . See you guys next year. Yes I’m dumb enough to come back . Oh wait Feb will save us.  We suck at winter weather and I’m the biggest sucker on all. Rant over .

    CMC is more like the reg GFS.  Both of these are a little quicker bringing in the storm (1/2 day quicker)

    The Para is a full on winter storm with a better setup with the damming high. It doesn’t have the closed low there just north of the Great Lakes like the GFS reg which doesn’t allow the sfc high to build south quick enough

    Thanks. Is it all timing ? What else needs to go right to get better?
