What’s that mean exactly?

Don’t panic huh? Too late lol. Hell I know the forecast here in Florence is not for the snow to start until after 1:00pm but for us to still get a substantial amount and I’ve already been panicking watching the radar stay just west of us all morning.

For who? The whole board?

Don’t realize there was another thread so I will post this here: I’m looking at the radar and I see some areas of snow near the coast moving northward, and then I see big areas of snow to the west moving northward, and then there’s a wide swath of nothing from Florence to Raleigh (with nothing appearing to be on the way). Havjng said that, every time I check the forecast for Florence the snow totals are increasing, with calls for Heavy Snow. is it just early?

I saw about 10 snowflakes from what’s circled in SC earlier

What’s the timing look like for this thing? In Florence it keeps going back and forth. First it says some mix and then snow overnight, then saying nothing starts until later in the afternoon tomorrow, etc. etc.

Honestly Ive been wondering about that here in Florence too… it’s so dang dry today I can’t get my pants to stop sticking to my leg with static.

Forecast for Florence, SC has added freezing rain/mix to the conversation, I haven’t seen that suggested as a possibility anywhere else…

Yea just added it a minute ago once I was told in another comment that the Location field even existed (but is not viewable via phone). My general question was more around the fact that the majority of the board appears to be in NC. But again I now know I can stop and click on everyone’s profile to see their location.

Makes sense. Thanks It does seem like there is an area that the majority of the board resides in though. I’m guessing it’s central to western NC from what I can tell.

As someone who is not a regular on the forum, I have a question. Where are the majority of you all located? I’ve gathered that it is somewhere in NC. But when I see posts saying things like “this model run was really bad” or “this one looks like a great trend for us!”, I don’t immediately know what/where/who you’re referring to.

Florence, SC forecast still saying “less than a tenth” accumulation but every map I’ve seen yall post has us getting at least a few inches. Assuming there’s not enough confidence for them to even forecast accumulation yet…

In Florence, SC (NE SC) the locals are just saying a chance of light snow. What exactly do I need to pull for to get better than that? Lol

NE SC, Pee Dee area - it must have drizzled overnight for about 15 seconds based on the amount of ice I’m seeing.

I’m just here to see if NE SC is getting obliterated by freezing rain or not.

NE SC has been stuck in a dry slot most of the night and now that it has filled in, it’s very light. They had upped our forecast to like 3-5” but I’m not seeing it on the radar at this point. Am I wrong?

Anybody have any clue if we should expect for the snow to pick back up here?

Seems like I-95 in NE SC may not be melting all the snow this time…

So in NE SC, our forecast is talking about this storm and the potential for “light snow” on Tuesday into Wednesday, but is also been mentioning freezing rain (now has changed to snow/sleet/freezing rain) on Thursday night and chance for snow Friday as well. im guessing there’s another potential system as well?
