  1. Upton going with 10” out here. Just gassed up the snowblower. LFG
  2. Long Island locked in now for a nice 3-6” snowfall. Been a while and it will be nice to see.
  3. HRRR destroys LI. 12-15”. hard sell. I think 3-6” still a good call city and coast
  4. I wouldn’t completely discount the EURO. It has support from UKIE. Definitely concerning trend here. Stay tuned
  5. It’s more a strong CCB from a bombing low. Not your dying backend band. The CCB will be getting stronger and more intense as the storm pulls east
  6. Was sneaky cold last night at 29. That outta help cool the ground a bit
  7. Let the kids enjoy the snow. I have no problem with a snow day
  8. Think city/coast good for 3-6”. Less south, more north. Inland 6-12”. Pretty standard
  9. They only update 2-3 times a day. Their next update will change. Relax.
  10. And the mesos all show warning snows for Nassau and Suffolk, even with kuchera. I think they have to go with a watch at the 4 am advisory
  11. Issue is areas east of city which are not urban. With rates at 2-3” an hour, if they occur, roads will become road covered, even highways. So Upton will probably go WSW for the whole area IMO if the EURO holds serve.
  12. Not true here. The snowfall rates are progged at 2-3” per hour. Snow will immediately stick to the roads outside of manhattan
  13. Don’t get sucked in lol. expecting more than 3” will lead to disappointment.
  14. Still sticking with my 1-3” call. Expecting that bump north
  15. I expect a bump back north tomorrow. That’s the usual trend. North, south, then north
  16. I think 2-3” possible on colder surfaces. Ground will be very warm so I see this as mainly a car topper event for us. Middle of the day, temps above freezing. Maybe 3” on grass?
  17. Don’t fall for it man. 1-3” is what you should be expecting for city and coast
