  1. 6.15” storm total here. Wild night. Sad to see the damage in the stonybrook/Port Jeff area. Per news12 a house collapsed and has been condemned.
  2. Never seen the LIE closed due to flooding out here before. Wild to see these reports.
  3. 6.05” storm event 3.70” in the last 2 hours back edge here, probably add another 0.25” but won’t get to 7”
  4. Port Jeff is definitely underwater. up to 5.06” here. High end event weve had 2.71”’ in the last 90 minutes

  19. Rainfall rates of 2” an hour now, complete monsoon
  20. Pouring now. Mid August to September is when the island usually gets these soakers.
  21. Radar scope overdone today. Shows too much where I’m at. I’m at an inch even and it shows 1.40”
  22. Flooded by Watertown and Waterbury…guess we know how the towns got their names…
  23. it’s wild that it’s still back building. Some areas may end up with 15”’of rain today
  24. Up to 0.95” today. Numerous rounds of downpours.
