The 93 superstorm underwhelmed on LI but we still got a foot of snow which froze over so you could walk on the snow pack. It was the biggest snowfall of my young life at the time so I was ecstatic

I don’t think our crappy last few winters has anything to do with GW, just bad patterns. It’s not like we’ve missed out on marginal storms. We’ve been torching and the storm tracks have been horrible. i think we get some snow in January this year but get a December shut out (more than an inch)

Agree strongly. To me a snowy December makes the winter. Put down a nice pack that can last a few weeks at least with refreshers. March snow is gone in 2-3 days.

I just don’t understand people who love cold without snow. Why? What’s the purpose? You’ll be inside anyway, what’s the difference if it’s 40 or 20? Unless you go ice fishing or have a pond out back for ice skating it makes no sense. to me nothing worse than bare ground and freezing cold. If no snow, warm it up so people can enjoy the outdoors

Hit 56 at 1 am, that should be the high I would think. Coldest temp this date in past 8 years here was 32, so interesting that recently this has been a warm day
