It’s been a remarkable winter really. Never seen anything like it. No snow within 150 miles of the city all month. hasn’t felt like winter at all. The ground is starting to come alive and the bugs are out. Are we in Norfolk?

Just pulled out the records. in 2016 I hit -1 1/8/2018 I hit -4 1/31/2019 hit 2 2021 we got to 5. 1/31/2022 hit 2 so todays 2 is on par with the average coldest days of the year at my location. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Dropped to 2 here in nw Suffolk. Cold but nothing crazy. We’ve hit 2 or below a few times the over the last decade. Coldest I’ve seen here was -4 I believe in 2014?

Block island -1. Big time cold out east. Temp has bottomed out here, slowing rising up to 6. Very short lived cold push

Yea crazy to see Nantucket below zero. Montauk at 1 has to be close to a record for them as well.
