Confused. EURO shows all sleet for I-95 East. How are we picking up 15 inches of snow??

All those weenie suicides had better come back to life... that is, unless the EURO throws us a curveball!

Eps took a step back it seems.
I don't remember any weather model showing a perfect hit for our area a week out 100% of every model run. There will be shifts north, east, south, and west. We'll seem too warm, too wet, too cold. This is part of the fun.

Well, I'm putting us all officially on Yellow Alert for a snowstorm next week. I have no idea if that means anything.

Fun little storm to set the mood for the holidays.

ehhh the two worst busts of all time!
But I feel like the Jan 2008 Heavy Snow Warning bust doesn't get mentioned enough either. I think that was the last HWS we had?
Or that Valentines Day 2006 sleet storm.... what a horrible mess that was.

This is the first late November in a few years without any virtual snow showing up in the models.
Agh. I nearly had a heart attack looking at those pictures. Then I saw "2019." That was a bigger let down than March 2001.

We haven't had a good snowstorm in early December in a long time. Wouldn't be a bad time to try again. I fondly remember the blizzards of 2000 and 2003.

With the wind coming up off of the water, maybe a good chance of some water spouts!

At what point do they stop naming Greek letters and start naming next year's storms?

Can someone tell me what the cause was of the Siberian heatwave this year? I've never seen anything like it before.

I would trust the Ukie/Euro/GEM over the GooFuS any day. GFS will come around 24 hours before the storm.
