you’re still not in the game, champ.

    Every Sub-Forum needs a ,USCAPEWEATHERAF.

Understandably - Everybody wants a piece of this storm. From Saukville to Indy. Sucks to be those two ATM.  Detroit Duster can still save Indy.  Saukville is gasping for air but a shipment of easterly dry air is due to arrive..  gonna get good in here.

**** that guy, he’s never right.

Sometimes you can reel in an overperformer being on the north fringes in this kind of setup.  LE and Light to moderate snows for hrs if you are in that sweet spot pivot pint.  The lake here could def come in to play for Geos and even Kenosha. This storm would be bad ass with a few very minor tweaks.  Even as modeled now this is a great storm south of the border. I'll miss the epic pictures from Alek's Skyscraper cozy office.  Days of Yore.

Highly unfavorable for lake effect if you assume the GEFS temp profile is anywhere near the GFS Monday evening. You'd want to see at least -10C between the surface and 850 mb, and it's showing about -5C at the coldest. That's a delta T of about 10C, usually want 15C+ for true lake effect.

Lake enhancement due to low level convergence could maybe produce an additional inch lakeside, in my scientific opinion.

That article is the fakest shit I've ever seen. It sounds like it was written by a third grader who just watched a Magic School Bus episode on the cardiovascular system.

I mean we know some people were intellectual stunted but corona has shown that many are dumbasses.

  5. Liking the Detroit Duster trends.  Stronger storm and it was a lights out slop fest in far SE, WI - Pass.  Sure there is still a path to pick up an Advisory event  but, is it worth the potential hassles?   Its still always fun to be tracking an event on here and  lets see what Oz brings tonight after giving the models a few cycles after RD1.

  6. Get it Chicago Storm. That LOT morning AFD can sure fire a snow starved weenie up. Pretty sure its finally happening again.  A meaningful  Bears/Pack game and a Border Battle for the Snow in the same week.  Feeling naively optimistic Geo's magnet and SE trend can team up to Save the Palm Tree's and drop a nice surprise further south.

Wasn't that a CDC idea though and the governors were just following through with the guidance given? I will say it was absolutely terrible guidance tho.

This is a nation of C- students at damn near all levels

Nice unintelligible response, but it's a fact.

Yeah its a bad thing field hospitals went unused? people all around from different states were saying how informative and comforted they were by Gov Cuomos daily briefings..  More than anybody can say about Bozo the Clown and his shit show briefings

Thats just horrible. Unfortunately this is coming to cities all over America

This all happened in NYC. people thought they were exaggerating the conditions and numbers, as they continued to live their lives worry free.

It was just a matter of time since March that rural areas would get hit hard if they didn't take this seriously..These are the same people protesting because they have to wear a mask and vote against  hospitals and health care.

  10. Tragic all around..paying inmates $2 an hour to do this?

El Paso posts grim 'help wanted' ad for $27.20-per-hour temporary morgue workers who can lift up to 400lbs to help move bodies of COVID-19 victims

    • The El Paso County Medical Examiner's Office posted a help wanted ad asking for temporary morgue workers
    • Workers would be paid $27.20 per hour and must be able to lift between 100 and 400 pounds with assistance
    • 'Not only is this assignment physically taxing, but it may be emotionally taxing as well,' the ad warned
    • El Paso County has been relying on low-level offender inmates, who are being paid $2 an hour, to help move bodies
    • The Medical Examiner's Office says there are 247 bodies at the morgue and inside nine refrigerated trailers being used as 'mobile morgues.'

Wow, I left for a few hours and come back to this s**t show.

While all of you are busy bickering, name-calling, and pointing fingers, I got a call from an official today asking how many body bags I can get my hands on. :(

did we think the Virus was going to magically disappear by choosing not to follow science, established protocol and social distancing.
