Everything is covered, roads were cleared and it's gorgeous. Still getting SN, if I can eke out 6" total storm I would consider that a huge win. If it sticks around for a few days even better.
It's all about trends at this point and PSU was the first to pick up on it yesterday. NO question things are trending more suppressed and east. Still time for it to come back but also still time for it to go away too.
In a horrible winter let's take what we get and be happy. We might not get a HECS but a forum-wide 6-inch snow isn't too bad given the season to date.
Just got back from being out - most roads are decent in my area but have a compacted layer of snow/ice/sleet on them. They're mostly liquid now but they'll become a skating rink if the temperature dips.
Just drove from extreme western loudoun to Dulles. All snow at home (800ft) and started to encounter mixing sleet in between round hill and purcellville. Leesburg was steady sleet and by the time I got to Dulles, it's all rain.
