  1. Wow , the CMC/GFS PARA/RGEM teaming up, man I hope this is a trend... would love to see the UK/EURO jump on and then we can just say GFS u stink lol
  2. The 12z GFS Para and RGEM both are the 2 coldest models for Thursday.... showing accumulating snow for northern NC , Southern VA , are they right? I doubt it but something to watch maybe
  3. Give props to the EURO , it stayed consistent showing a weak storm... and the gfs kept showing high totals , now it's caved to the euro... again...
  4. Hard to figure out Thursday guys and gals... it looks like it's either a storm or bust.... with the wave now on shore or close , should have some good data go into it for the 0z Suites tonight
  5. My guess right now for the "epicenter" for this storm will be right around route 460. From Roanoke east to Lynchburg... to far north from there will be a cutoff and to far south from there will be to warm... just a guess for now.
  6. Hard to say man... the EURO is pretty ugly... tough to bet against it
  7. 12z UK wasn't hitting on much... much less snow compared to 0z
  8. UK much further south... that was a solid run... Sent from my SM-N981U using Tapatalk
  9. 0z GEFS , an improvement to say the least... Sent from my SM-N981U using Tapatalk
  10. Talk about a tight gradient. I'm about where the circle is Sent from my SM-N981U using Tapatalk
  11. 0z GFS continues to pound southern VA and points north.
  12. I'm intrigued but definitely not excited , I'm still on the edge right now... to close
  13. Another solid GFS run for mby and @Buddy1987. About 3-6" per gfs here
  14. We are whispering , cause their ain't nothing to shout about just yet! lol
  15. 12z CMC continues to stay central VA and points N
  16. @Buddy1987 , GFS Para comes in again and went north... pretty good for you and north va but only 1-2" here
  17. What I don't understand is why are the models showing a deformation band as rain? With all the cold air and the storm exploding... no way that's rain.
  18. It brings about 3-5" here with much more just north near Lynchburg, very tight gradient!
  19. 12z GFS is still to warm though... its a heavy rain to snow scenario per GFS , I don't know what to make of it...
  20. FWIW , the 12z ICON continues the theme of a weak wave , similar to the Euro.
  21. I know it's the 84 hr NAM , but it looks like it's digging at the end of the run...
  22. They are way apart from each other. Gfs has the Low near the VA/NC border...
  23. This is looking more and more like a northern VA Snowstorm unless something changes...
  24. Saw that the 18z EPS looked good.... man , would be nice to see the models converge on something big....
