    Any ground truth out of that bright band in Greensboro? Is it snow or sleet?

    Should last more than a couple more hours.... looks to change and mix with sleet around 5 or 6 this evening... as that moisture moves up from the south, that cutoff should fill back in with moisture as it pivots.

    8" Here In Dry Fork, VA. It has snowed 8" in about 8 hrs.

    I hope you are right. Just dont see how we get 6-12" near Danville with all this dry air eating at the moisture.
