Brutal night. Not totally unexpected. Simmons was embarrassing, and I have been a big supporter of him even when most had already turned on him. He lost all confidence in his ability. Shame it happened.

Noticed most of the more significant cells are north of Harrisburg moving east. Down this way the coverage is a bit better but the rain is generally light. .08" here over the past 2 hours.

I like to post this mainly for entertainment purposes - this map often seems to be wrong unless it shows 10" of rain over OBX which verified perfectly, but here is WPC's take on the next week and rainfall: Not a "lot" of rain over eastern PA considering we have several chances to get wet.

Yes, I know what I'm talking about. I've been going to games since 1975. I've been to close to 800 games in person. I know the game pretty well... I'm not arguing about Simmons. I agree with you - but what did Embiid shoot over the final 8 minutes? Look at every elite team in recent history...every one of them had a star. Did MJ disappear in the final minutes? Lebron? Kobe? Of course not. The ball ended up in their hands, and they delivered. Embiid is our man. Last night, down the stretch, he had multiple turnovers, 2 HUGE missed free throws, and very little else. Yes, no one else did a damn thing. I get that. I was there. I can tell you that there were others leaving last night saying the same thing that I am now. While he had no help other than from Seth, he did nothing in the final minutes other than turn it over. Sorry, that's just the facts. I'll go now. Thought this could be a place to talk and not be insulted.

You guys know how I feel today? Imagine us all going to bed at 11pm on a winter's night with the promise of 2' of snow coming the next day. Then waking up to Partly Sunny and nothing at all. It's a sucker punch and I'm pissed. Moving on to better things...
