  1. Nice to drop a Legion of Doom Line analogy in there (Lindros, Leclair, Renberg) Got just about half of what you did. .31" here. I'll take it.
  2. So far it looks like everything will go west and east of my location. It is what it is. Still time...
  3. Severe Thunderstorm Watch hoisted for the LSV (south and east of 81)
  4. 81 and haze at 11am - so ready for the return of blue skies later today.
  5. I was looking out over the river last evening - the smoke seemed to be hanging over the Susky while the setting sun was a red fireball in the western sky. I immediately starting jamming out to Deep Purple.
  6. Hopefully in this case, delayed is denied in regards to the extreme heat.
  7. Outgoing shift met from CTP to incoming shift met - "you might need to issue a headline for (fill in the blank) Incoming shift met "where are you seeing that on the models?" Outgoing shift met "No, I read it on the weather forums...it was that Bubbler dude again" Incoming shift met "WTF?"
  8. 85 and sun/haze/smoke. CTP mentioned in their updated disco the need to lower expected highs today by a few degrees solely due to the smoke.
  9. The second part was made in jest. I don't want 40' seas. Already went through that on a previous voyage, don't need an encore.
  10. Cruising to Bermuda next year for our 25th anniversary. Looking forward to enjoying 40' seas from tropical weather.
  11. LOL - yet another trail I'll leave alone. I don't. I think in general as I get older I struggle with allergies and respiratory issues more.
  12. I did see a map where the smoke reaches it's worst in our area tomorrow. I'll shelter in place and put my mask back on.
  13. Pillow Firemen's Carnival is going to cut into the York State Fair's attendance...
  14. Been coughing a good bit the past few days...wondering if it's smoke related. Anyone else struggling with allergies or respiratory-type issues?
  15. Normal high for MDT on 10/1 is 70, so it would take a +30 departure to reach 100. I guess it could?
  16. Weather extremes seem to be the new normal. A 100 in early October...never say never.
  17. Bubbler the soothsayer has got the hot hand these days, hard to bet against you. I'll remain somewhat cautious as it's only 7/20 and we've had a lot of late-season heat waves in the past. Having said that...I hope you're right!
  18. I honestly don't remember even seeing a cloud today...likely due to the amount of smoke.
  19. Storm is sorta of Petering out over that mountain north of Harrisburg.
  20. The Pillow storm might actually track even a bit farther west than the first one. While the cell is moving pretty much due south, the core of cell seems to be congealing west somewhat.
  21. @sauss06 I didn't really think we'd get close to 90 today, but I'm at 89 now...
