  1. Great writeup, I have vivid memory of every route that I traveled that night (and the following day) only to come across flooded roadways. It took me just under 2 hours the next morning to make what is normally 20 minutes to get to work. I'll never forget Lee.
  2. Walt Disney World started that process the first week of August. No lie.
  3. Yes, it does look like with the earlier timing it's getting captured and tugged west, which makes sense. A weaker AND slower storm will (should) track further east.
  4. I've read a lot of opinions on Henri from mets to weenies, all saying that a stronger storm will mean a west track, a weaker storm will be further east. Models today are insistent on a farther west track but are depicting a weaker storm despite that.
  5. Spent the night at my parent's house outside Mount Joy. Got from Lancaster to Mount Joy, but every creek between there and Maytown was flooded.
  6. 15.11" to be exact in my gauge from Lee. Wednesday was my birthday, went out for dinner with my wife and didn't make it home that night. I had 10.62" fell here on that day.
  7. 15" on top of what we just received will many many unhappy along waterways. But yeah...it would be something to remember I guess.
  8. Mmmm, this is such a loaded comment that could spark a very longwinded and probably not asked for response. Let's just say that yes, you are right, and yes, we're probably thinking a lot of the same things...
  9. I hadn't heard that. I'm shocked at learning this. Here I thought he was on track as a model citizen and inspiration for tomorrow's football legends. That could not have been said more sarcastically.
  10. Also, why are we talking about Antonio Clown this morning?
  11. Picked up an even .10" of rain overnight - the MJ Snowman rules supreme! Congrats to the M/D line gang for your bonafide rain event - nice to see areas where it was needed most jackpot.
  12. I was thinking of you and your recent posts. At least this wasn't a damage-inflicting storm.
  13. 2 kernels of popcorn to note - there are showers near and east of Dillsburg and just west of Pillow. Both locations have been consistently scoring the past several weeks.
  14. That breeze feels mighty good! Temp is up to 85 here.
  15. That's spot on work my friend - my highest 10 minute interval was between 7:07 and 7:17 last evening when .83" fell.
  16. Definitely not hot, my dewpoint is 68 though. Breeze and clouds help make it feel nice.
  17. I thought my area maximized on that line that went through - I only had rain for 30 minutes and got over the 2" mark during that time. The southern half to 2/3rds of the county got into an additional band that came out of Maryland and kept the rain cranking for a few hours, hence the super lofty totals.
  18. You did very well and I'm thrilled for you. Regardless of timing in regards to yards and vegetation, this is still water in the ground table. That's a plus.
  19. Just back from dinner out - received 2.01" of rain in 30 minutes, 2.54" for the day, 2.80" of rain since yesterday. No to little wind, some lightning and thunder. Big news here very clearly was the water...that's a lot of rain in 30 minutes.
