  1. Exactly right. And that illustrates my point about players on this team being overrated/overvalued.
  2. I won't speak for the others but I'll be fine regardless. I've had very grounded expectations. Watching virtually every playoff game that I possibly can has only verified in my mind that the Sixers are a vastly overrated team. They just simply are not that good from 4-8 in the rotation. As Paweather mentioned, Thybulle was an embarrassment last night. No consistency whatsoever with him, Green, Niang, etc. To think at the start of the season that Korkmaz was a starter...yikes.
  3. I agree with all of this. I might be willing to trade Embiid as well because I'm still not a big fan. He's too inconsistent and he says things that a leader should not. His "We are unstoppable" comment after acquiring Harden...yeah, how's that working out for you, Joel? When the Sixers won game #3, honest to god, I looked at my son...we both smiled, and said "we're about to make history." (meaning, we still thought that this team was capable of losing the next 4 games)
  4. Westbrook's game really has regressed over the past few years. Harden's might be following right behind him.
  5. Last night CTP had me getting less than a tenth today. Now it's between a tenth and a quarter inch. I'll take it if it comes.
  6. I wasn't. They were lucky to win game #3 - it took a miracle shot to win it. They haven't played well at all...okay, they've been terrible really since game #2. Even if they find a way to win one of the next 2, they will get smoked in the next round. I was vocal about not getting Harden...the city went nuts when the trade was made. Seems like there's no more joy left in the tank. The Beard was booed off the court last night. LOL
  7. I still contend, as I have the entire season that the Sixers will not make it past round 2. At best.
  8. High today was 77. Currently 68 with fair skies and a pretty stiff breeze.
  9. It'll be funny to see what will happen if Brooklyn somehow goes on a run and what excuse comes from #25 hours before each game. LOL
  10. 67 and sunny. Terrific way to end the weekend. True test of Orioles pitching will come when the heat and humidity show up. Moving the left field wall back will help.
  11. I agree. Doesn't just use met lingo...he combines that with "our talk" so that it's easily understood.
  12. Yep, not the first time we've had an epic pattern not long after it would have done us a lot of good. Frustrating. It's that kind of pattern right now. No certainties.
  13. Yeah, I think the "central" area of the LSV (MDT and surrounding areas) should expect anything from upper 60s to mid 80s tomorrow. Temp is actually dropping here - down from 59 at 10:30 to 56 now.
  14. I agree - tomorrow could be a very interesting day with a huge discrepancy in weather conditions from Chambersburg to Allentown.
  15. Ironically, the people in this thread that most want warmth (the two I mentioned above) are most likely to stay cool, while the guys out west enjoying the cool weather (bubbler) are most primed to reach the 80s tomorrow.
  16. Elliott's latest discussion: @Voyager @mahantango#1 you probably want to skip over this...you've been warned! https://www.millersville.edu/weathercenter/forecasts/weather-discussion.php
  17. Yeah...I know we're forbidden to talk about that on here...but that was seriously funny.
  18. Looks like my high today will end up at 66 - several degrees cooler than I thought. It's gotten pretty cloudy here. @Jonesy56@Bubbler86 - thank you very much for the mower advice/tips.
  19. I'm really not in the market for a mower right now but I will be looking into getting an Ego.
  20. I really need to get that done as well. In the past 2 years, I've replaced just about everything inside my house as well as a new roof. Driveway sealing is about the only thing left. Maybe a new mower? I'm wearing out the one I have. LOL
