  1. 11 degrees with light snow and about 6" on the ground at ORD this morning.
  2. Just saw the weekly forecast for back home - MU going for Sunny and only 24 on Saturday...followed by rain and 45 on Sunday. Good grief. 35 here outside of Little Rock with an ice storm moving in over the next few hours. Nice to find some wintry weather down near the Gulf.
  3. On the ground in Chicago for a connection and it's 12 degrees with solid snow cover. It's winter here in the midwest!
  4. Looking like I'll be in an ice storm in Arkansas tomorrow night into Tuesday.
  5. Well... I'm flying out of MDT first thing tomorrow morning, so I'm doing what I can to get you to 60.
  6. Thing is, it's not dropping all that quickly with nightfall. Still 47 here now.
  7. Elliott's long range forecast released last night was not surprising but certainly discouraging - he sees a chance for a single event late next week that would have a ceiling of a few/several inches if everything worked out perfectly. After a couple of cold days next weekend, he's issuing a spring fever alert for much of February. Basically a full-blown torch for at least a few weeks. Sitting at 3.3" for the season...
  8. My percent of wiper/snow shovel usage for the season stands at 100/0%...
  9. Already up to 50 here - what are we...12-15 degrees AN for the high and it's not even noon.
  10. Through the first 26 days of #January2023, there has not been a single day with below-avg. temps at @millersvilleu. Only one day (Jan. 14) had a normal daily mean temp, and temps will be above avg. through at least Jan. 30th. We’re on track for a top-5 warmest January on record! On only two days (Jan. 14th and Jan. 21st) have high temps remained below 40°F. In January 1932, there wasn’t a single below-avg. day. It’s a real possibility that we repeat that feat this month..
  11. Blizz will deliver some good vibes. I think he missed his calling as a pro "events" scout. He'd find a Tom B. redux every year.
  12. How did you get a pic of Blizz tearing down the goalpost prior to him posting snow maps?
  13. Welcome to thread the needle consequences - if timing isn't perfect we're left with either suppression or a cutter. There's an in between but the goal posts are narrow.
  14. 37 with similar conditions here. Don't really know what to make of next week's weather. I guess expect the unexpected?
  15. Meanwhile, at my location in Arkansas I'm looking a solid 5 days of highs in the 30s with nearly daily chances of rain, sleet, freezing rain, and snow. Head to Arkansas for winter weather!
  16. CTP has me near 50 for that time period. I'd imagine any if any of those days feature more sun that forecast, 50 should be a lock.
  17. MU responds: A few light #snow showers are moving across northern parts of the Lower Susquehanna Valley this morning, & a quick coating is possible on non-paved surfaces. Otherwise, today will just be mostly cloudy & seasonably chilly (highs near 40°F) with a 10-15 mph westerly breeze.
  18. I remember. My records show that I received 5.75" of rain. Unlike Lee when I was literally in the bullseye, with Eloise the heaviest was west of me in Lanco.
  19. County lines would create a lot of headaches on maps that show almost the entirety of North America. LOL
