  1. Was just coming here to post that - this is probably the best thing that could have happened at this point. I think it was becoming a distraction, especially when they would lose the first game of a series.
  2. Nothing will bring you greater satisfaction today. Yes, nothing.
  3. It was very Florida-like - minus seeing Expedition Everest and seeing Chickies Hill instead...
  4. Skies have opened up here at work with nothing on the latest radar scan. Edit: Heavy rain for all of 20 to 30 seconds. Done.
  5. That's kinda what I was seeing - areas out near 81 would likely start seeing wet weather around or after 4pm. That cell in Cumberland was ahead of it's time!
  6. Cell has formed from those towers already. Things are popping much sooner than forecast...
  7. At least over this way Friday looks spectacular with full sun and lowering humidity. Almost a zero percent chance of rain. Edit: CTP doesn't necessarily agree with the above statement. LOL
  8. Super time sensitive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90ShM64bs1Q
  9. Friday and Sunday currently look best, Saturday and Monday look the wettest. A lot can change over the next few days. Timing each disturbance seems difficult.
  10. @Bubbler86 MU is spilling the jargon for the weekend! I don't foresee any "washouts" between Friday-Monday, but there will certainly be multiple bouts of showers and storms throughout the weekend. I'll do my best to parse which time periods may be most active, but understand that exact details can and will change over the next 2-3 days
  11. Summery day unfolding...sunshine and 81 and a bit humid to go along with it. Should easily make the mid 80s at this point.
  12. Yes sir, I've seen a lot and heard a lot over the years on all of my trips taking it. When it first opened back in 1992 it was single-tracked the entire route and it took forever to get anywhere. While the speed has improved over the years, safety has not. It can be an interesting experience downtown and south of there these days.
  13. You're not wrong. If my kids would have all stayed put I'd be singing a different tune.
  14. Wow, that is crazy regarding insurance. I had no idea it was THAT high. "Winter" weather is definitely part of my Jacksonville equation. Definitely would get at least some cold shots each winter. That, location from PA and my favorite cruise terminal (Jaxport) are all appealing to me. And I'd be close enough to Daytona/Cocoa Beach.
  15. Yes - we have extended family members living in Jacksonville, New Smyrna Beach and Kissimmee. We visit on each trip and listen to them and have learned a lot...honestly, if we do make the move it'll likely be to the Jacksonville area. I get my Florida vibes going and we can get home to visit in 12 hours.
  16. I'll say probably not. I love snow...at this stage in life I probably enjoy the build up more. I'm also at the point where I can live without it.
  17. Florida reports and pictures have me jealous. Still waiting for my wife to say "let's go" and I'm out.
  18. Enjoy Florida. Just .14" fell here, all of which came before noon with just a few light sprinkles since.
  19. He's going to sell tickets. Who was the last Pirate that fans specifically bought tickets to see?
