@TimBuckleyWX · 2h Official snow total at PTI Airport today: 2.0 inches Last winter we had 0.3", then 0.4", then 0.5" on 3 days in January / February. The previous winter we had 2.0 inches on Feb 20th 2022. We still haven't had more than 2 inches since Dec 2018. -

NWS Raleigh @NWSRaleigh October 2021 was a very warm month, with GSO, RDU, & FAY all 4+°F above normal (5th-warmest October at all 3 sites). It was relatively dry for most of the area, but storms on 10/9 dumped 4.96" at RDU (monthly total: 7.53", 5th wettest ever).
