You did this last month and then there was 5” of rain.
It’s a model with a forecast for the next three weeks. Maybe it won’t rain, but I guarantee that the model you’re looking at isn’t foretelling the next three week’s weather.
I’m just saying maybe relax and let the weather do weather.
Yeah, my shot isn’t what I saw. I could tell that it was happening, but to the naked eye, it didn’t look like like the photo.
For me, it doesn’t take away from the event.
So excited for everyone! I’ve just landed in Colorado and sunset is about an hour away. Heading now to the Great American Beer Fest and then later heading out to dark skies beyond Boulder.
Driving along 100 today near 29 and some of the maple tips are a super vibrant red. Someone should start a foliage thread for photos.
And @WxUSAF, no first freeze this year? Or are you betting we just don’t have a freeze?

Good thing because I'm heading to the GABF in Denver this weekend!
Nice. I worked today and am enjoying a post shift Munich Dunkel Porter on draft. Good list here now. The Oktoberfest will be back on as soon as something else kicks.
I asked this awhile back in a different thread, and no one addressed it. Probably because it’s such a stupid question, but I thought that I read somewhere and sometime ago that a track over Tampa was unusual. Maybe not?
I bring it up because I have generally been skeptical anytime I see a track like the one on the NHC site now.
Tigers have the Chisox and could easily win out. Definitely need a win for home field for the WC. Be nice to get it tonight to rest and set up the pitching for next week.
The only thing I know about tropical systems I learned from watching the pretty colors on the goes. With that in mind, Helene looks to be getting healthy.
