    Looking at 2006 how does Fairfield get 27 and Bridgeport 12.5. the towns are literally right next to each other makes no sense. 4 seasons u do a snowfall map for this one yet? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_blizzard_of_2006

    I somehow lucked out with that Western CT strip that gave me 9.5 and Bridgeport 5.5 on the March 13 event. 0 10 9.5 2.5 April storm 6

    I remember watching channel 7 news and Lonny saying he believed the EURO was correct due to the small blow up next to Deleware. At least I ended up with 7 unlike Philly which was looking at 8 to 12 and getting 0. NYC I think ended up with 10 due to the initial piece staying south of us over LI.

    Great write up and radar! That winter in SW CT was overall a great winter with great March snowfall, even with the Feb. dissapointments. It's funny how the mind works, getting a solid 7 inches in the blizzard but feeling ripped off due to a poor forecast. Getting a solid 10.5 while eastern areas get 16. Snowfall ended up 166% of average.

    Here is a good question. Which decade was better 2000 to 2009 or 2010 to 2019. Both amazing decades. I experienced only 3 below average snowfall winters in 2000 to 2009 and 2 below average in 2010 to 2019. I would go with 2010 to 2019. The 2 best 5 year periods I'm are 2010 to 2014 and 2000 to 2004. Of the 2 I would pick 2010 to 2014 but almost a coin toss.

    Don't know if you go back that far, but how about the largest snowfall of all time for SW CT the blizzard of 1996. 27 inches reported in Darien Westport Norwalk and Fairfield.

    LI did not do good in 2000 2001? In SW Coastal CT was 30% above average snowfall.

    I would sign up for either in a heartbeat. Amazing the difference in a small area. 2013 2014 was the 2nd snowiest winter in SW CT of the 2000s

    Accurate map. I am in that yellow 8 to 10 blob in SW CT.

    Looks good. For Easton 10 inches in the last storm and 9.5 this one. Ready for spring unless the next is a blizzard! What did Bridgeport report?

    Central CT missed out to the bands east and west. But you guys will probably jackpot on the next storm.
