    On a bright m note we had a decent snow event in March 1990.

    I just looked at the historic NYC snowfall records and am shocked how bad 1970 through 2000 actually we're. ONLY 3 above average snowfall winters in 30 years! Makes this 2 year below average run look great.

    Snowiest month for both years was March. I wonder if there is a correlation. Obviously sample size is miniscule.

    Definitely worst since. Up here in coastal CT we are ahead of that year for snowfall, but a ratter for sure.

    Eh. In the 80s and early 90s we had horrific winters with good Marches. Some areas like here had more snow already this year than last. Last year March delivered big time. Would not be shocked if we get another light to moderate event in March. Feb. Looks bad.

    Ha. How dare you. You do realize that in the Renaissance the globe was so warm they were able to grow grapes in England without issue. Our winters were probably full of perfect beach going days. Dont get me started on 1,000,000 BC.

    I am tuning back in for March. Same as last year.

    Not liking the latest MJO plot for GEFS. Goes into cod and re emerges in 3 or 4. Would not be surprised given how winter has gone.

    Wow did not realize NYC did so poorly in 2008 2009 (actually average). Not too far away here in SW CT we were over 40 and had snow coverage for months. Of course NEMO was the difference in 2013.

    I was at 11 for 11/12. 8.75 so far this season.

    Yup. So far for me worse than 11/12. However slightly better than 01/02 and 97/98.

    I can't believe I had more snow by this time in 11/12. One positive. If this winter follows last we will have another 11.5 inches in March

    Just lost the negative EPO on the GEFS charts.

    Wow what a bad morning. All the teleconnections went in the wrong direction and the MJO now not moving to phase 8. Hopefully just a blip.
