    Good news is Winter is not even half over yet (March is typically snowier than December IMBY).

    Thanks. Does it keep that look to the end of the run or is it transient? We just need to keep that delayed until the 2nd half of Feb. Like Don said RNA works starting 2nd half of February.

    Looks like the coastal runners are reduced. This leaves two camps one which would be a good hit and the other OTC. 50 50 shot?

    That's fine negative PNA in Feb is better than December and if we get a negative NAO with it, it can be magical.

    If we can align this with the neutral PNA for early Feb.....

    Hate to do this for the measurement but went to bed when I hit 1 inch in Easton. Was still snowing but the town south of me Fairfield was already mixing at 34. So I can only go with 1 inch even though could have been more.

    1 inch now Easton CT still snowing.

    Had to get up and measure again. 1 inch still snowing Easton CT.

    I thought we did ok with east based, especially City on east.

    Amazing difference still between GEFS and EPS. Negative AO and NAO GEFS Positive on EPS. Both still have the trough in east coast. This difference would have major implications on storm tracks

    Looks great but I feel like the GEFS is more accurate.

    I still think we wait until the PNA starts to fall and we get hammered by an 8 to 14 event.

    If the PNa is not as negative as December we snow. Plus Snowgoose and Don showed how Feb is kinder to snowfall with negative PNA.
