I won't even venture into that forum as there are close to 30 posts/min, lol, and that's just sick, and I don't care to read such drivel as "deathband" and what not! They have absolutely NO CLUE what a band is nevermind a death band. I've been in one with LEN, and that was a DB, lol, as almost 8' fell in an hr, not 3-4". Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I must be looking at the wrong naps then, as I don't see anything impressive about either the NAM or it's counterpart, the GFS so what am I missing? In fact, we get just as much precip as they do in NE, the difference being, theirs comes in 12hrs and ours in 36. Lemme know if I'm missing something. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I'm nearingr4in after that vicious Squall came through, actually we've been getting hit all morning here so it looks very wintery where I am but I'm sure other places in CNY feel quite differently. But as we all know these are very short-lived events and once again this one is no different, as the sun is starting to appear in and out of the clouds in between squalls or snow showers whatever you want to call them, so it's pretty much a done deal except of course if you're under that makeup and this evening south of Syracuse, what else is new Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

The first little impulse comes through tonight through the early mornin hrs tomorrow then a break and it's during this time we see the precip shield start to pivot West so we'll see how far West it gets. So do I, and I think there are ppl on the Verrazano bridge waitin to jump when they see this system tomorrow come right over the top of AC . They still have the Euro to coddle, well at least KBOS does, but the GFS kicked the living daylights out of the EURO with the last event especially in and around NYC where it had almost 14" and they got the big ol' goosegg, lol as did the rest of the boroughs.
