  1. Snowy landscape here now and secondary roads are getting crappy
  2. We actually completely flipped here about 15 minutes ago and started to very slightly accumulate on the coldest surfaces, but now back to 50/50
  3. About 50/50 mix here depending on intensity. Can look up higher and see more flakes.
  4. That map looks like it's somewhere near Prospect or Wolcott which are both up around 900 ft+
  5. I'm feeling a bit better back this way and I was earlier. Hopefully the precip shield will continue to blossom and fill in on the western side of the system a bit more on the models . When you see the placement of the SLP you would think that would be the case. Earlier phasing would definitely help accomplish that as well.
  6. Yeah there's not a lot of wiggle room in Connecticut. There is some consensus on accumulations in the northeast corner , for the rest of us we need a really dynamic and early enough phase to get that CCB cranking before the system hauls out of here.
  7. We need the east ticks to stop in the 91 corridor, as it is relying on dynamics to flip with a progressive system on a valley floor under 200' ASL west of the ORH Hills/NE CT Hills makes me pause for anything more than mood flakes to very light accumulations locally. Hopefully I'm wrong.
  8. Other than the gully washers round 2 was pretty meh with the convection and strong winds here. Best wind was with round 1.
  9. Got to be about 2"here. Just a soaking of a day.
  10. About what I expected, best rain west and best wind east. Looks like the closest PWS a couple of streets over from me is reporting about .95
  11. About .8 in the rain department. Nice to see but it was a bit of an underperformer.
  12. Keeping expectations low to perhaps moderate based on everything I've see thus far. Hopefully I'm pleasantly surprised or we get lucky with mesoscale features or favorable nuances in the midst of a hostile pattern.
