    So in layman’s terms, it’s really no big deal, right? We are in a Niña…does the SOI tanking mean the Nina is getting stronger, or again you have to measure it along with the other indexes you mentioned, to actually know anything. Sounds like a lot of mumbo jumbo that tells us very little in the end.

    I remember shoveling my girlfriends garage roof(had a very low angle on it) at the very end of January that year(2011), and the roof had 36-38” on it…and the middle was so dense and icy…frieken nuts. Took like 4 hrs to do. We had piles so high that we were jumping off the roof into them.

    Yup had 10” with that one in early January…that was the start of that epic run..unreal.

    My point is we have the cold, and the chances look to be there…that’s about all we can ask for, especially early on in December. Just a little patience, climo is now quickly becoming more favorable for us as we move through the next couple weeks.

    Kind of the tenor(if I do say so) of the early season so far….to mute the big long range looking torches as they move closer to go time. Not a bad tenor to have if you like wintry weather.

    I see your point, however some of these people need to have their doors blown in every so often. I have Tiger Torch on ignore, and a few others, but sometimes you see the post anyways, because somebody quoted it. Whatever. On ignore they go. Some silly folks for sure. But let’s carry on with the weather.

    Below normal temps, and cold nearby, with active storm track…this is a decent set up going forward. We’ll have chances.
