    So this might be the real deal as far as a real split goes this time then...? Hopefully if it does split, we get some of the affects on our side of the pole/globe also?

    If we had this grinch storm last year..last year would have looked just like this year everywhere too. It’s just a bad timing Rainer the last few years...with this grinch being the king of wiping out the snow everywhere in New England this year. We rebuild.

    Here’s a pic from 12/16 and 12/26 this year 2020 (before and after) from Allegash Maine. Grinch wiped it out in a day.

    It’s been the grinch the last 3 years...they were loaded up 18 and 19 with 3 ft plus pack, and grooming was in full swing. Even this year they had 2ft plus and grooming operational, until Xmas Eve and day wiped it out. So it’s been just incredibly bad timing for the last 3 years.

    To be honest...couldn’t go riding last December in N. Aroostook either. They got washed out last year too. And back in 18, if they didn’t get a 10-12 incher the night of the 26th..it wouldn’t have happened either. And all these last 3 yrs, had a very good prior two-three weeks of snow and snow cover leading up to the rainers at Xmas in ‘18, ‘19 and ‘20.

    Agreed, but I don’t ride in SNE. So I guess I was speaking of my home here in SNE. But You guys and on North of you to Dry Slot, to N. Aroostook can have the frigid temps.

    Who needs frigid anyway...normal temps in the height of winter is plenty fine around these parts. We take.

    Wow that’s a surprise lol...as Goose said, it wouldn’t be the GFS if it held on to it. So typical.

    I can wait. There are some encouraging signs, hard to deny that. Let’s hope the pacific can improve just a little for us...might be all we need to start the ball rolling.

    No it’s not...but you’re on one side of the coin, and a retired NWS MET is on the other. So you get the point. He gave us his take yesterday, and so did you. So in that respect, you see what I mean. It’s all good.

    This isn’t about appeasing anybody Scott. It is about potentially seeing something that was a lil more difficult to see at a specific lead time. That’s all this is. Hey, you know your sh*t, you may end being more correct on this potential. We’ll see going forward.

    Hunchie is just like T Blizz...down everything until he’s buried or crushed in ice, then say it was a great event lol. Hindsight is 20/20 for those guys.
