I think my previously advertised, and called for mid 70’s tomorrow is in serious jeopardy…let’s see what 12z says?

Your call for all the warmth is in serious jeopardy….I want the warmth to win, but it’s looking very tenuous at the moment, the door is becoming stronger.

I left Madawaska, ME on March 9th, 2016 at 7:30 am, and it was 15 degrees. And 6 hrs later as I approached the Piscataqua river bridge, in southern Maine it was 81 degrees. A 66 degree swing. Left with heat and heated seat on, by the time I got to Portland I had to put the AC on.

Some of the modeling was showing 80 here…but that seems a stretch. I’m hoping for mid to upper 70’s. But if 0z goes colder for us, I think we’re done.

Lol…it’ll make up for that down the line, it always does. March 13, 15, 17, 18, 23(for NOP)..we were due for a dry spell in March. It’ll be back. Your bigger worry for now is if Saturday is frigid or 80?

Yup…I think 70 plus here is gonna fail. Go 50 miles to the SW, and it’s a much better chance. But I think we can do 60+ as you say.

I hope Saturday holds…that’s a delicate situation. That can go bad quickly this time of year. It could be 70, or 35 real easy.

The crazy part is…it was off for a long time and the data is skewed, but the dumb garbage goes in the books. Not cool. Late Last September or early October when we had the warmth for a few days…they were 86 plus while here it was 76-78. 8-10 degrees off is laughable..but it went in the books. Pathetic.

Then you deserve to be disappointed. Although we have had a lot of tornadoes the last couple decades that did some healthy damage in SNE. So there’s that.

Agreed 100%…just used it to show the sun angle idea. 4/1/97 was a better example for sure. 10/2011 another great one.

That was a cery cold storm…lost nothing to latent cooling in that one. But as Tanarac said, 4/1/97 was even a better example, no where near as cold an airmass, but it didn’t matter.
