  1. Not in ‘22 though…was frigid both Xmas eve, Xmas day. But ya, otherwise we’ve had a few mild Xmas holidays.
  2. For garden variety thundershowers…lol it’s funny. I couldn’t be bothered.
  3. You guys chasing all over lol…funny shit.
  4. Heavy rain for 20 minutes…sun back out now again.
  5. Rain here now..cell from the SW heading towards me.
  6. Ya, About as wild as the Amish on Easter Sunday.
  7. Yes sir. Sun has been out here most all afternoon…a lil overcast now due to the cell to my SW.
  8. Twister drive in scene…lol. It ain’t gonna be a big deal….but let’s get some flashes and bangs.
  9. Thursday was real weak sauce here…I’m gonna bet this does better than Thursday here. So If I get a flash of lightening and 3 rumbles of Thunder, it’ll beat Thursday. Not a high bar.
  10. High and dry here so far…let’s see what comes/pops later here.
  11. Ahh ok. Hey, we’ll see what later brings. Won’t be to difficult to outperform Thursday here, so I’ll be interested in seeing if that can happen.
  12. He actually said it isn’t gonna be anything particularly strong in his opening statements.
  13. Cell headed right toward me dried up to nothing in the last 20 minutes..we dry.
  14. Sometimes the second round is the better gig…we’ve seen that happen in winter too.
  15. I said that in the other thread…wouldn’t take much for areas outside of NH where the tornado hit.
  16. Both of these posts are well said gentlemen..Well said. And I agree with both of these ideas very much so.
  17. Thanks Wiz…very enlightening info for non MET folks like me.
  18. And not flat and wide open where those events can roll in unimpeded for dozens of miles..very hilly and mountainous here..flat like a board there.
  19. This is true too. Very good points. Maybe I more mean…that storms many times weaken as they come in here. And I’m further west and they weaken many times as they come through. And we had good sun yesterday and heating. I know there is more to it than just that, but maybe that is more my focus.
  20. Very true Don. Agree. That’s why this is really a safe and good place to live for most folks…the weather is mostly benign here which make it a safe place to settle. Sure, extreme things can happen as you pointed out, if everything comes together right, but that’s the rare event.
