  1. Nah that’s not it…it’s that this thing kind of has been becoming more mundane for most in CT and SE Mass all day, that some have lost interest. If this thing was showing 8-14” for those areas, this place would be off the hook.
  2. Nobody is driving from Houlton, or north of there down to Bangor for anything. That’s a 3-4 hour desolate drive down to Bangor. Houlton and Fort Kent are 2 plus hours apart. Houlton is a pretty big town for that area. And a Presque isle is known as the hub of Aroostook…its got everything one needs…definitely a small town, but doesn’t feel all that remote for up there. Caribou is another cool small town, that has everything you need. But Once you get north of caribou…it starts to get much, much more sparse. Fort Kent and Madawaska are neat lil small towns too. Folks are really genuine and sincere up there…again, it’s a different world in that respect as well.
  3. Yes, that’s typical. Stuff doesn’t melt..piles up and piles up. If you like retention…that’s a great place.
  4. This is So so true. Special place for sure. It’s 2 degrees in St. Agatha right now. going down to -12F overnight. Place is the tundra lol.
  5. Literally chest deep. One of our buddies buried his sled(he’s a newbie only been sledding a couple times)…literally had to like swim out to him, cuz you couldn’t pull your legs out of the snow it was so deep. It was comical. Trails are always superb there. They Groom every single night. So many ways in and out of the area too so that makes it incredible too. So many choices and trails.
  6. Lol…yup, place is off the charts. Truly Another world for sure. It’s a haul, but I’m spoiled by the quality of riding, and the amount of snow..no ice, just all snow! The Grooming is constant and top notch. Total professional job.
  7. Just got home from the northern tier of “The County”, it was absolutely outstanding! Absolutely loaded up. Trails were incredible! 400 plus miles of riding. The place absolutely rocks.
  8. Lol…certainly not trying to be nit picky, but that’s not the notch, but rather the pan handle in far SW CT. The notch is up on the mass boarder in Far northern Hartford county.
  9. I think at least 4” is a lock here in interior central CT. If we can really thump, and hold off the sleet a bit..6+ is easily doable imo. After all I’m in the warning zone lol.
  10. I told you it’s all good…you’re continuing this utter baby nonsense.
  11. Really? And you didn’t low blow? You might wanna knock it off now. I’m done with your baby crap. I called out what it appeared to sound like on a weather board. Wasn’t personal. Get a grip.
  12. My feelings as well. Let’s enjoy this. This could be the last one….lol??? (Ducks and hides)
  13. You didn’t hurt my feelings. I appreciate your knowledge and all. You’re the one that seems to get emotionally irritated..but whatever. I told you I’m fine with 3” or 6” or 8”..and then bring the sleet. I think my area will easily do 4”, probably closer to 6” imo, then we sleet. That’s my feeling on this. Down south on the coast it will probably be less. As usual. And I said it was all good. Let it go now.
  14. I melted at the frustration of the season, after the storm was over. He was melting at a model run. Again, its my opinion on what I saw.
  15. You may be the least nervous person in the real world. But in here you melt at the slightest change in the models. I understand you have a business to run and I respect that. And I should have been more clear when I said you’re all over the map…what I really meant was emotionally speaking your yo and down. . Or at least that’s how it comes across in here. And you melted big time this morning in here... Period. I don’t really give a flying crap either way, but that’s the way it sounded on here. I like your map of 4-8 south to north at the moment. Ita all good. We’ll drop it now. Carry on.
  16. Luke, The guy is a nervous wreck. And who’s concerned? Geez. It’s 3-6 or 4-8 south to north. It’s had that look for a while. He melted earlier. Now the Hrrr goes colder..he should feel better.
  17. You’re all over the map pal. You got a call of 4-8” across CT. That looks good now. Stick with that unless this completely goes to shit later on which I doubt. I’m fine with whatever happens…I’ve gotten my fill of winter. Put 1300 miles on sledding in a very snowy place and I’m good. If I get 4” and then sleet, that’s fine by me. If I get 6 even better. Whatever. I’ll get the day off tomorrow either way.
  18. Relax you nervous Nellie. I made my point. You jump and flop with each end every run pal.
  19. We’re talking past each other I think. What I meant was that 18z yesterday showed it colder as did the 12z yesterday…so it went the same way. Now 6z today ticked warmer, as did the 0z run. They followed each other in the same direction…not opposite. That’s what I meant to the melting Seymou.
  20. huh? 18z yesterday followed 12z. So whatever. Worry yourself silly. It’s a frozen event here. Immediate Shoreline may be a different story.
  21. Lol and 12z will go back the other way…that model is struggling mightily this year.
