  1. That’s fine by me…keep it mild for another couple weeks. I remember November 2002 well…early part of month(first 10-12 days) it was 70 ir even a bit more a time or two, cuz we were out on my bike(Harley), and it felt like early September…2 weeks later it was snowing.
  2. Nope! Last day of January had to shovel roofs with 42 plus inches on them caving everything in. Early Feb brought more snow…then it shut down…but it was epic.
  3. 16 Days from now…not happening but nice eye candy.
  4. Which obviously isn’t caribou lol. Looks closer to Houlton.
  5. That’s exactly what I was thinking about(2010-2011), but I didn’t want to come out and say that, for fear of being called a wishcaster. I remember Bastardi back then forecasting a heavily front ended winter for ‘10-11, and said if we didn’t get the goods by the end of December, we were probably toast. He was humbled by what happened that winter, and admitted as much.
  6. I know you love being the big TERD in the punch bowl, but Let’s see what actually sets up, before we say torch city etc for January and February. Many times things take longer to establish themselves, and hang on longer than we all think.
  7. that map makes caribou look to far south.
  8. Ya it’s been a soaker, and more inbound.
  9. Bahahaha …his hockey mask is ready.
  10. Stein is completely dead here and has been for quite sometime….and these(this rain) are huge nails in that coffin.
  11. Nahhh…overcast and dreary, perfect day for a fire. Looking good with that nice mug of suds in the foreground too.
  12. When you empty them, are they still alive? Lol.
  13. 34 this morning, but Truck now reading 71…dry, sunny and gorgeous! Can’t be beat. Need the air on in the vehicle if you don’t want the windows down. Autumn at its best.
  14. Ahhh thanks. Two weeks away….I wouldn’t be too worried even if I lived in PR.
  15. Ya..I didn’t get any of it…no co-morbidity’s and in good health, I was like no way I’m taking any vax. Got Covid back in January…felt like a very mild flu back then for a few days. Lost my sense of smell right at the end of it…and didn’t get it back until late June(was a long hauler with that). But that’s just me. If you’re elderly and/or have compromised health, I can certainly understand the concern..it should be a personal choice and entirely up to the person. Nobody should ever be mandated to get anything like that. I tested every week last fall for 5 months…due to my fefusal to get the vax, so my municipality said I needed to be tested weekly, and it was at no charge to me, I just had to go to a state testing location and test each week.
  16. Scott singing soprano for a ‘15 repeat…Watch out Barry Gibb.
  17. There’s been plenty of winters that were very good and got going after December…but I agree that late November and December snow is great…and can get you off to a good start/ahead for the seasonal totals. I like December snow a lot. Let’s hope we get some.
  18. As I’ve been saying …what a gorgeous autumn. Days of cold refreshing mornings, and cool to mild afternoons. It doesn’t get any better. Today was the coldest morning going to work in the truck so far…truck thermometer was reading 32 at 8:15, with a nice frost.
  19. Rocky was back to basics..back to the beginning, back to Raw!
  20. Glad we’re back to weather, vs swamp asses and shorts. Ya let’s get that even a month from now. Whats Sunday and Monday looking like this week? That system/or whatever it is gonna come up the coast?
  21. I hear ya, but Sometimes it only takes one epic storm to make a winter memorable…that winter had two, and other smaller events thrown in. That winter also set a record for snowfall at BDL, which stood til ‘94, and then just two years later ‘96 beat ‘94. 77-78 was a great winter for us here in CT/SNE.
  22. What’s Ironic too is…we all know how the winter of 77-78 turned out..it was glorious.
