  1. Agreed. But I think must of us are trying to temper expectations a bit, being a week out. But to your point I like very much what I see, as it fits the pattern very well. So yes, I’m glad we’re here.
  2. That model blows…period. Sometimes it sniffs something, then it can’t keep even a semblance of it. I know we’re 7 days out…but it’s erratic all the time.
  3. safe to say…something significant is brewing for east coast winter enthusiasts, that’s about all you can a say a week out. But we like the look.
  4. It’s all we got right now Jeff. You got a foot plus coming, we have cold rain. So unfortunately we look ahead.
  5. I totally get the next opponent idea..so I can understand that part. I’m already looking past this soon to be current event, cuz I’m out of it it seems. But when you clean up on a blizzard that left most of the forum holding the mud pie late last January …it’s hard to tolerate the pessimism all the time. We all lose(this storm for me) and win from time to time, so we can all understand the frustration too. But the excessive negativity is tough to take some times.
  6. Hey I know he’s a young kid(I think..early 20’s), and I don’t mean to hurt his feelings. He just needs to read and listen more, and learn a few things. And contain the urge to post his fantasies. I get the excitement, man I feel it too. But this has a tremendously long way to go. Could fall apart tomorrow for all we know. Sometimes a lil tough love is what’s needed. No hard feelings George. Just relax and watch things play out.
  7. I mean in general. The model has lost a lot of its ability imo. I realize the Dr No saying..wasn’t meaning that. It used to lock on to stuff once in its wheel house, and you could pretty much take it to the bank most times(there would always be an exception here or there), now it’s all over the place. I think that much is very evident. That’s my point. You don’t have to agree, but it ain’t what it used to be. Not by a long shot.
  8. Please. Stop posting for a while. And read more and try to learn a few things. It’s for your own good. Then return with some decent posts.
  9. Ya pickles…I’m not buying that. I’m not talking about tics. The model is mediocre now…at best. It’s lost ground over the years.
  10. Euro so bad compared to what it used to be…getting schooled by almost everything now.
  11. Was hoping to see some factual discussion from the likes of yourself or the like. Instead we have resident lunatic telling us the storm can make its own cold, and it can snow no matter what. My lord .
  12. George……STFU! You speak utter NONSENSE. You don’t seem to learn anything. Your posts are ridiculous and add nothing to the discussion. I was hoping to see some rational posts this morning, and all I see is your junk. Somebody Five post this lunatic.
  13. Whoa. Some Colors in that you don’t usually see.
  14. Why is it Dire…don’t we want dire? Let it storm/snow the F*ck out of itself.
  15. Ok..thanks for clarifying. I was like Jerry must be losing it, if he’d rather have rain than snow next week.
  16. Lmao.… too funny. I’ve always been a vehicle guy, and love trucks. The versatility is amazing…and with sledding, and towing a trailer into big winter time weather, a truck is a necessity for me. But ya they are getting very expensive. So I get the point completely.
  17. Lol. I get ya. I have a winter hobby that has me driving long, and very challenging conditions many times, for many hrs on end, so I need it. Yes the tank is big…but the mileage now on the newer trucks is very impressive. I have a ‘22 Ford F150 Platinum Powerboost, and it’s getting 20 plus mpg around town, and 25-27 highway. Gorgeous and incredibly capable vehicle.
  18. I literally drive one mile to work, so I hear ya, but when you love winter sports as you and I do, the truck is indispensable. The all wheel drive sedans are good, but what stops them is ground clearance. Once the snow gets too deep…it lifts them up from the underneath, and no more traction and it’s game over. With a 4 wheel drive full size pick up(and they’re gorgeous now), that becomes almost a non issue for the most part. You wouldn’t be worried about getting up to the slopes Saturday that’s for sure.
  19. Get yourself a capable truck, and not worry about stuff like that anymore. You’ll never look back.
