  1. But that’s mostly always the case when you actually break it all down. And Especially so for something upper tier. Let’s enjoy the tracking…no matter the outcome.
  2. Ya sure..that’s why they are always different.
  3. Do I think it’ll probably be less than memorable…yes I do. But we don’t know this yet. And we don’t know what’s gonna happen with all those moving parts, and how they interact at this time. I mean I guess we can err on the side that it slides east today…but would that be correct..
  4. Lol. Luke it’s 5-6 days out….these looks are gonna change 10 times. The hemispheric look isn’t modeled 100% correct at this juncture for 1/20.
  5. Yes sir…best wind I’ve seen in quite a while for us. Lol.
  6. Bones on the snow…but the wind is impressive all of a sudden.
  7. Yes, yesterday CT was looking quite good for this…but it trended away from us last night and this morning. Nothing here. Sun out .
  8. Here too…just a few flakes and that was about a 1-2 minute duration.
  9. Lol…about 3 flakes here. Oh well wasn’t expecting much(but figured it would be a little more than that) cuz these usually fail here more often than not anyway.
  10. Less compression means a little less speed, and more time to congeal and bomb for SNE, instead of OTS, or for Nova Scotia.
  11. Oh ok. But sounded to me like you were hedging towards the Canadians, when you said hard to ignore the 60 hr consistency idea…but I guess I misunderstood.
  12. Oh I know what you meant, and certainly agree with you 100%. We on the same page.
  13. Of course it’s never a guarantee, but that’s not the final solution…no way.
  14. We see the inverted trough idea many times to mean it’s morphing/trying to figure out what it should do…a preliminary solution so to speak.
  15. Sooo…another words, the Canadian and the RGEM are gonna be more right with the heavier look you think. As the Euro plays catch up. Is that what you’re meaning?
  16. Yup…even back here thanksgiving of 89 was a real nice storm…snow all morning and early afternoon, with about 6-8” of accumulation. Really Blew up for the cape though.
  17. I just remember the local TV Mets saying that had it backed a little closer(and the satellite imagery was very impressive..I think I took a picture of it lol) it would have been a real whopper. But then again I’m SW of your area, so that makes sense too.
  18. Was out to the east too..but it was a huge storm out there. Just saying that it was a big strong system.
  19. Not here bro..the first one in January was 22” here, the second was 18” here. Feb 2006 was was 20-22” here.
  20. Yup. And Jan of 18 had a good one..it was a monster of a storm, just a little too far out to the east, but got the area good anyway. But had that backed in just a little more…it would have been a monster for SNE.
