Yes, Last year was a friek up there. The year before(‘23) they killed it in March, I was there the 3/30 through 4/2 with tremendous conditions, and cold temps. So it usually is very good up there in mid March most years. Just like anything else, sometimes things don’t work out. But most times they do.

Early and mid March is great in the county..so we take for up there. But the good look I was referring to was for mid Feb..so that was where my analogy came in.

Well that was my point…I was being told the big warmth was coming, and countered it with that the warmth all season has become muted as we close in. Don’t doubt some milder days. But the cold is around.

Remember 89 well…we had a shot at one big storm in February, and it shit the bed the morning of..and went OTS south..it was horrible.

You know better than me, that snowfall is incredibly nuanced…the cold has been here..just couldn’t cash in. Shit happens. And It was just that yours and Will’s posts were not close…so obviously you both are seeing different things this morning. Anyway, I think we’ll have more chances this month. Maybe we strike out again. At this point I’m good with NNE getting it for my interests. But it would be nice if we could all share in the fun too.

Me too. Will said it looked almost the snowiest it’s looked all season….obviously that doesn’t guarantee Jack shit…but just commenting how it looks now is what I meant. And any warm trends have been muted this season as we close in…so theres that to consider.

As you said..you would never know it with the posts in here…And from some solid posters too. I don’t get it? When the EPS looks bad..they’re all over it. When it looks good, they’re still saying it looks bad. Lol. Talk about jaded shit. WTF? Obviously when the EPS looks good it must be wrong. And when it looks bad, it must be right. I guess that’s what it’s become. Thank you to Will and John(FXWX) and Seymour for providing some objectivity in here.

You’re right, It is like the 80’s. For those of us in our 50’s and older, this is eerily familiar. But you can’t deny that the cold has dominated so far. Looks to continue for the most part. And It’ll be hard to dodge everything for the next 5-6 weeks with cold around during peak climo. Eventually something’s gotta give. Even in the 80’s we’d snag a major(but they were rare) here and there. Can we snag one over the next 6 weeks?
