  1. We certainly share this passion….but I guess if I lived on a dirt road like some of the folks, I’d still get the salt and sand and road chemicals off the best I could in the winter months(every 7-10 days or so), to save the finish and exposed undercarriage the best I could. Obviously we wouldn’t spend the extra(time and money) on getting them perfect like you and I like them, if we lived on the dirt and gravel roads they do. But I’d try my best to keep it respectably clean in that environment.
  2. Lol..ya you’re close to NYC climate down there. It’s 60 here. Still very nice out though today.
  3. Perhaps..but my post was more just to wear. But I can understand that.
  4. Everybody has their own ideas on how to dress themselves lol..who gives a flying F**k what folks wear? Wear whatever ya want. Shorts at 35 is ridiculous…but if that’s your thing, knock yourselves out. If there’s no breeze and it’s sunny and 60, then I could see myself wearing shorts. But again, who cares lol.
  5. 3 of us, so 3 ways for the winter.
  6. The sun lol….eventually it’ll come back.
  7. 25.5” this year. 12.3” last year.
  8. The boys(3 of us go in on a cabin for the season). They took 2 trips(I took 1), I couldn’t break away when they went the second time due to work. Never thought this season that I wouldn’t have another opportunity this year, but so it goes. After late January..they got zero snow, it was cold enough, just no storms got up there. 2016 was another bad year up there where I was only able to take one trip(in March). I’m usually able to take 3-4 trips, but not this go around.
  9. Ya riding is done…we’re heading up this weekend to get gear and equipment out of cabin. But the area should get some decent snow Sunday and Sunday night. But there’s no base, clubs have packed up, and it’s over unless you live there, and you can go out for a rip.
  10. Nah, Some spots will do well. Don’t get too carried away.
  11. This year here is better than both of those….it all depends where you are. Still a Rat, but just not the The King Rat.
  12. It lasted longer than 2 days up here…but it’s April and all. We were out of school for a quite a while..which was a nice little bonus at the time.
  13. Loved snow(the weather) for as long as I could remember. My mom shares the passion with me on that too. The winters of the late 70’s(76-79) really were what got me so excited. Funny thing is I remember the winter of 72-73 well, even though I was barely 5…and that was a lousy winter as you pointed out. Small piddling events here and there…lousy.
  14. Well This is New England…and it’s certainly not out of the realm of legitimate possibility here…so I’m sure Anthony was more speaking for this area, rather than the concrete jungle of NYC.
  15. I wasn’t going to even comment. Everyone is free to believe as they choose.
  16. That was a beast…waist deep snow and big cold in April of 82!! I was 14, and can never forget it.
  17. April 82 was more than just decent..it was historic here. Full blown blizzard and with big snow.
  18. 1992 I remember a later March snow storm…that winter(91-92) sucked too. After that year it started getting good.
  19. How many cord do you think you have in the wood yard currently?
  20. Cool video. Do you plan to cut every tree down on your property?
